So the "hack" on the back; would that essentially work for a power wheels plunger pedal? So when pressed it would come on and when released it would stop? Trying to figure out how to use this in the power wheels world to give the motors a slow start rather than instant full on.

How did you fix your track down & into position while the cerment dried, Thanks
@lindisfarnemusic5 жыл бұрын
Hi I got some rubber paving tiles from B&Q that I cut into small sections. These were set into the concrete when wet. The track was then pinned to these using very long panel pins.

Following the exhibition shown here Wemblesden underwent a two year electrical redesign/rebuild before its second outing at Perth green in 2018. The layout has since evolved further. For more updates see kzbin.info/door/v3WYG8ODPAlJKguwwdU14Q?view_as=subscriber

Magic, brought back some good memories, I lived in Willesden and dare I say, my playground was Neasden sidings. Impressive layout , that knitting must have taken an age. 👍

Thanks. Been on with the layout for about 5 years now. Still lots of stuff to do but I am at a point where we can start to take it to shows now the electronics are more reliable. ;)

Phenomenal layout. You've done a great job of capturing the atmosphere of Willesden in the 80s. The catenary is superb and there's plenty of action. Thanks.

Thanks Paul it's taken me 5 years to get this far with the layout hopefully now it's running properly we will start to get a few show invites. :)

Is it powered from the over heads
@lindisfarnemusic6 жыл бұрын
No. The APT has been totally rebuilt since I did this video whilst the garden railway was dismantled. The APT is now powered by a mech from a bachmann warship and the set no longer tilts. This has allowed me to lower all the coaches to the correct height from the rails and also to model the anti tilt mech on the power cars.
