I mean, if you haven't threatened to duel your best friend over a matter of honour, are you even best friends??? 🤷🏽♀️

Okay they have changed the climate too in final screening, I mean this is like almost mid day . And in series its quite early, dovey, dawn rainy light.. kinda thing.... I mean that level off effect is quite fantastic!

I would love to see Page come back Bridgeton. He really made the show. Although all of the acting was GREAT. I do wish him the very best.

In the movie, one would think that there were only 5 or 7 people around, but in reality there were hundreds of them around watching. It's amazing how these people involved in the movie shoot those parts piece by piece, part by part and connect them all into one beautiful finished product. I'm starting to like movie industry when I see footage like this.

I'm in awe of the production crew! Everyone so diligent and devoted to perfection because that's what the viewer gets with the Bridgerton experience. From cast to crew it's all a perfect historical romantic fantasy for the viewer. Kudos go to Netflix ,of course, for giving them the support they need to pull it off.

WARNING!!! LONG WINDED MESSAGE!!! Great scene!!! Nothing like a Masterpiece Theater presentation, 18th-19th century duel!!! If you saw the duel in the series "Poldark" that was a great one as well, but they actually shot at each other. In one of my history classes in college, I learned, and actually read in full, there was actually an entire rule book for dueling etiquette and rules, for example, the Duke, if he felt he was a better swordsman that a shot, since he was the "visiting team" in a sense, since he was challenged, he gets first choice of weapons, and he could have chosen swords (that's where "fencing" came from, rich guys learning to use that sword just in case). It was also common for duel to have a "referee/umpire" so to speak, who had authority to shoot dead whichever duelist cheated or violated the rules, such as, if someone fired before allowed. Duke's "second" or assistant, the Boxer, does by rule get to choose pistols first, and ensure he is not given a tampered with pistol, it was common practice for the pistols to both come from one owner from the same box of 2 dueling pistols, which insures both duelists are using equal weapons (note the boxer inspecting the pistol very closely). It would be considered a dishonor to tamper with a pistol that your opponent would use, and if word of that ever got out, you would be disgraced for life and deemed a coward for giving your opponent a tampered with pistol As one of the younger brothers mentioned if you caught it, though some duels were serious business resulting in death, as in Burr vs. Alexander Hamilton in America, it was very common for the duelists to intentionally shoot wide or high, so they both walk away with gentlemanly honor intact, and often, it was expected that one of the duelists would be expected to give and apology, in this case it would have been the Duke apologizing where the onlookers would hear. Also if the Duke would have been fired upon and then fired straight into the air, which it seems he was prepared to do, and say if there were a larger crowd of 10-20 family there, that firing into the air would often be met by applause from the family and friends of the one who fired first, and considered a gallant and honorable thing to do for sparing their loved one's life.

Any woman who inspired a duel would have been considered a fallen woman by the ton. The duelists would have to leave the country if either were injured or killed....so the whole duel for honour was a fallacy.

These 2 minute scenes take all day to shoot 🎥 I worked in a section of London where they’d film movies, etc. Once they were filming Luther - Idris Elba was jumping in a van, out the van, in the van, out the van … all day. When I watched the scene on TV it was a 30 second clip 😆

It is so enjoyable to watch the behind the scenes of Bridgerton. I love the fact that all the people working on the set of this series are so open to talk about the work behind it and that they do not make it so mysterious. Through such videos we learn to embrace and acknowledge the people behind the camera. Who would have thought that almost five hundred people worked on this “short” series! Watching it makes me want to be there and work with these amazing people. Keep it up! You did so amazing.
