The comments about how the show was just dismissed really rang true. Not one critic talked about the queerness of the show, I cant help wonder if it was out of fear of getting canceled and/or threatened. Most media is under siege these days. Controlled by people who are concerned about a bottom line, and loosing readership. I wonder if they are purposefully publishing "safe" reviews of what they perceive as incendiary topics?

NO ONE CARES ABOUT 'QUEERNESS'. Most people are sick of agenda driven shows and refuse to pay to see them especially when they are THIS terrible. This is one of the worst shows ever and it was told over and over again in development it was not working and yet they insisted on pushing it onto Broadway and this is what they got. It was bad from day one. Broadway has ALWAYS been 'queer' and if you disagree you don't know anything about Broadway or its history. This show was garbage.

It wasn't GOOD. The public rejected it and word of mouth sunk it. Gatsby had terrible reviews too and it's thriving. The critics got this one right. Every single thing about this show was absolutely terrible. People like you who prop up mediocrity and agenda driven shows with zero artistic merit are the enemy of the theatre and thank goodness the public is pushing back against you. Go away parasite.

It's absolutely absurd that this beautiful show is closing. It's time to move past the jukebox musicals and go back to having original theatre again.

Amen!!! For me as an actor, that's something I want to do more of. New shows from the ground up!!! Powerful. Inspiring. Lifting. This show is inspired by Tamara's life but it's ORIGINAL!!! Shame on everyone for trashing it bad.

The Dude is over 65 what is so drunk about it? He's old, if he was drunk he'd be breaking his hip! He's singing without a teleprompter too, you try doing that smart ass!
