I got in-trouble for stretching in the office while all PT are sleep .. Yet two hours later the other RN on the unit put a brownie on the floor in-front of our fall risk PT. Door for 40 min to prank the other coworker .. But i cant stretch on a 12 hour night shift

This is true. It happened to me. Not there anymore and will never go back. Did not burn bridges but I went through hell with my co workers. Especially I'm an Asian. Never heard racism until I came here in america. Sad because when foreigners visit Philippines, we welcome them with open arms and make sure they are happy. But with me when I came here, all I experienced was hell. Cannot wait to go back to Philippines soon and just come visit my kids here yearly.

Haha can totally relate. I have an accent since I am from Ukraine and some angry patients will tell me: “speak English or get out of here.” I still love them. Their anger has nothing to do with us but with the loss of control of their situation.
