Nurses eat their own was what we were told to look out for. I haven't had much trouble with nurses but I have worked in some pretty toxic environments where everyone was out to get you.

Had a doctor write an order to not wake the patient to give pain meds. Didn't wake the patient (addict) to give pain meds. Patient lost her mind when she woke up 2 hours later and threatened to leave AMA. Called the doc to inform her. Got told to go tell the patient I was worng and she should get to have her meds... yeah I found a new job shortly after that. She was the only doctor over the unit and was awful to work under.

I was in the hospital over two months. During the first week I was litterally stuck in bed. Iwas attached to several machines by IV's and repeatedly told not to go to the bathroom alone, always escorted. So when i needed to go I called the nurses station and told them i needed to go. "OK" was my answer... 30 minutes, nothing, an hour later nothing. They showed up 2 hours after my call and were angry with me because I peed in the bed. I had some very choice words for them and the head nurse.

Ah yes, the naivety of first serious jobs. I screwed up a couple times in my late teens and early twenties with just being a little bit too honest at work. I realize when I'm at work keep it about work.

Being a RN myself, I don’t even need to ask how many of these situations were instigated or perpetrated by females, because I already know it was the vast majority, if not all of them. The vast difference in the way I’ve observed men, including myself, approach Nursing, patient care, and behavior and dynamics in the workplace is remarkable. It’s a beautiful profession that’s unfortunately weighted down with a lot of nonsense. Many of these behaviors say so much more about the people engaging in them than they ever will about the targets of the behavior.

Sadly some of the worst women are BLACK AMERICAN WOMEN. They don’t want to work. It’s unreal how they complain 24/7. Just don’t work like the inner city ones if you’re gonna complain.

I worked in a hospital with the medical equipment. I would be on every floor because of that and I worked with the nurses all the time. I am so glad that these selfish narcissistic nurses are few. Though it may be a hospital culture thing, seeing how many of them there were in this video. But, I honestly think these kinds of nurses are the exceptions and most are great and truly caring people. I see it's a hard job with little breaks, but when done right it makes a HUGE difference.

Wait. That's at the BEGINNING of your shift, right?!? Two hours in, if I walked past a mirror, I'd have a full-body shudder of revulsion at my own appearance, mumble "UGH!" in disgust, then keep walking, while trying to forget I looked like hammered, flaming dog shit.
