I just recently had a similar issue with my older vxl3s system, no connection to throttle channel on the receiver. I just kept messing with it, unplugging, using new receivers, going back and forth and eventually it just started working again

Just got the UDR last week along with the bluetooth module. All the updates went smooth, no problem. I ran one set of batteries through it and now my ESC won’t recalibrate. (green flashing light) Called traxxas to diagnose and they deemed a dead ESC and to send it in for a new one. Such a bummer right now. But seeing this video makes me wonder if all this happened due to the Link module!!!! 🤔

This just sold me a UDR. Was looking at a scx6, but this is the best proof of a rc being a 2in1 combo I've ever seen. Climbing looked effortless. Great video!

13:06 get a m2 tapper and a jis driver. These Tamiya kits do not use philips head, the angle of the screwdriver head is different, making it complicated when using the wrong tools. Very similar, but incorrect for the application.

I'm not too sure if this happend to me, but I bought my udr second hand and it already had this installed, so I was messing with it and now a few days later it won't turn on or connect to my controller

I had the same thing happen .. but didn't get it working again.. looks like i have to buy a new receiver..

You were supposed to keep the side brackets loosen until you got all the wood pieces on. You should not have to cut any off the wood pieces.

I've just updated the tqi with no problems. Make sure device is not active as phone or access emails or notifications. I never use my working phone for updating. I use a old phone that still functional and no emails or anything else installed. Just to do the updates.

Great review. I have 2 Redcat Gen7's with portal upgrades and some other more frivolous accessories. Been looking at options for a 3rd Crawler. Been kinda hooked on the portal modded Gen7's due to the price point, but after finding your review on the Coyote a lot of my reservations have been cleared. Been tipping between one of these Coyotes and a lightly modified Sendero...your review is tipping the scales some, lol. Subscription added.
