Well there is also the access to world-class researchers, and some of the most brilliant people walking on earth. I think that can translate into a better education. Also, differences in education exist. Don't know if Harvard is hard in particular, but I know some unis make it easier than others to pass and graduate.

Harvard is easy to get in if you follow this simple criteria: black, Islamic, trans, radical and mentally disabled. GPA less than 2.0 and you’re in on a full scholarship. You don’t need to show up or go to exams because it’s racist. It’s a clown school

The most impressive thing about Harvard is getting in

Yes my daughter got into grad school there .. she chose Yale and they closely followed her needs & education to ensure a good outcome for her and their “name” attached to her success in top jobs. Grad school is probably different.

What a stupid claim. Universities do have differing levels of exam difficulty. Yes, his point about smarter people being in these unis makes sense, but they are selective because the uni is also difficult.

I have not been to a traditional university but I can for sure tell you that different environments really lead to different results. You can drop a naturally "intelligent" person in a bad neighborhood but with a library and it is very unlikely they'll benefit from it. You can drop a less than "intelligent" person in a good neighborhood and they'll do much better academically, even if they don't use the library. Oxford has a tutorial system and this really benefits naturally curious minds. Oxford doesn't just filter out great students. It's education system really is better. That is not an opinion, it is a fact (assuming that what you consider better is an education system designed for the curious mind).

That's incredibly true. I've met so many smart people but their life circumstances didn't allow them to make use of their talents.

It's actually the networking provided by parents who can afford to send you to Harvard.
Selection through heritage. Dominant casts write the way of perennial of their genes.

People that go into private schools are smarter? Isn't that the same as people that have money that couldn't have the necessary performance to enter a public one?
@daveytrump65162 жыл бұрын
That's the reason they pick our next politicians from the top private schools! They have already been screened and it keeps the working class out of politics.
