I'm thinking about doing a 55 gallon in a few weeks. Just wondering where did you get the sand, don't have a lot of money to spend. But I do like your setup, and that you used wood out of the yard. Great video. I have a question. I've wondered how those that have fishrooms, like yourself and Dean over at Aquarium COOP for example, how do you afford to feed that many tanks? Do you buy in bulk? Or do you just deal with the cost of it? I'd like to expand the number of tanks that I have, but I worry about the cost of feeding. Thanks and have a great day.

I’m so pleased that you’re back giving me what I love…more content. Love you’re bringing back bigger tanks too. I have what I call my babe cave. Just lost my 150 gallon tank which was my pride and joy. Was my first large tank and reintroduced me into the hobby from my childhood. My mom bought me my first 10 gallon tank. Raised some danios and unexpectedly had babies. Good times. Got 4 discus tanks and three other tanks up and running. My eight year old son helps me sometimes lol. Getting ready to set up his 20 gallon long tank again then I’ll just have two empty ten gallon tanks. So many things and fish I’d like to try. So jealous of your local fish store Phil runs and not having any fish swaps or aqua shella here in my boring city. Oh well maybe one day. Hi, which live plants do you recommend for Tiger Barbs? I recently got a 10 gallon tank for my son (new to this) and decorated it with fake plants. This week, two died, and 3 are left along with two albino fishes and two snails. I did test the water, and everything was within levels according to the kit. It's been 3 weeks since I set it up without any water changes. I am honestly afraid of changing the water because I'm scared the rest die.
