why is the term casual used instead of just saying that the player is bad. Alot of the "try hard raiders" dont play 12 hours a day lol

In my recent experience, after 10hours of trying it, i wasn't engaged and even fell asleep many times of boredom. A true pity because i love the skill customitsation system

Solid eso advice, I actually got into Vateshran Hollows and I started getting this feeling, crazy your video popped up for me.

doing something similar in 2024. Concealed weapon now gives minor expedition and adept rider set gives major expedition so that'll be 45% right there. I wasn't focusing on the sneak aspect so I'm not sure how accurate that info still is but yeah

As a new player I'm really struggling learning combat because enemies do no damage. In pve it literally doesn't matter what attacks or rotation i put together i will easily kill anything no matter what. I've only lost health from falling. I really like everything else about how the game feels though. But the combat in pve really makes questing dull in my opinion

Yeah, definitely too easy. I don't even understand why bosses have area attacks with a circle or cone that lights up (implying I should avoid them). Even if I go to make tea, when I return I will still have 60 percent HP. This prevents me from taking the game seriously. I kicked the ass of a Daedra Prince or something in twenty mouse clicks without any chance for him in one of the first quests. One of the bosses couldn't even break through my regen. I don't think, "Oh, I wish I had more potions/better weapons/a couple of friends on my team." I've literally been a god since my first appearance in this game. Just for fun, I even removed all the items from my character, but the opportunity to die still did not arise.

Loved this video - do you have any recommendations for content to “learn” the stuff I tend to miss out on when levelling. I have got multiple characters to 50 and past cp160 etc but I always then get bored cus I don’t have a group and also don’t know how to play my role properly cus none of the grind content taught me

Do what LOTRO did and just make it a player only difficulty mode for PvE overland only.

I don't know if I just sucked, but I played ESO for the first time a few years ago when Blackwood came out, and I needed help from a friend to do public dungeons and dolmens with my level 20-30 character. I just got back into the game on a different system (so no CP), and I was soloing dolmens and public dungeons, including group bosses, before I reached level 10. Again, I don't know if this is because I sucked when I first started and now I know what abilities to get and how to use my heals and stuff, but like... I don't even use food or potions, I just go in guns blazing and wreck these things that used to own me.

You don’t want the game to be like wow, trust me being dependent on adding has ruined that game. However I’m referring to instanced content, not overland that stuff is all face roll.

Just did vMA last night. 19 deaths. Most of which were because of the poison mushroom things and the bosses enraged scream in the Vault of Umbrage Learning the mechanics is key. After that it's very doable.

I just started last week after being off mmos for over a decade. It does seem very easy, I just spam button smashing and run around with no fear unlike in WoW and EverQuest 1. I love the lore and ip so that’s the only thinking keeping me. The dungeon are almost comical the way people just run through. Just my take.

I need a good challenge to enjoy a game. Would love to get into this game as I love the lore and the voice acting and world design is awesome but they need to add a world tier syster like diablo 4. Just no fun to playing overland

Its 2024 and this problem is still exists. Im only playing when I have nothing else to play. Bought Necrom for $13 during last years big sale so I figured id give it another shot. Created a new toon, no companion, no CP( Im 1000+) , no crafted gear( just drops w/training), and played solo. "Bosses still melt with an ult and a few button presses. Most of the best looking skins, mounts, etc are still locked behind expensive af loot crates. Its like $50 for 15 crates. Oh and Rich Lambert still here for some reason 🤷

all overworld in eso is too easy, the only thing that is actually a challenge is world bosses because its gonna take you a long af time to kill one solo.. not fun, not hard and just takes a while. Arena's exist yes, but why do i wanna spend all my time spamming one activity, did i buy the game to spam one activity to feel challenged solo? no.

I do enjoy a good Wild Hunt/Night Terror/Darloc Brae/NME with Steed Khajiit NB thief build. For pure harvesting, I vote Wood Elf with Wild Hunt/Adept Rider/Jailbreaker with Steed. My Redguard mains run Wild Hunt/Adept Rider/Twice Born Star/Magma and Oakensoul/Night's Silence/NME. Highly recommend Adept Rider and Wild Hunt on your various toons' overland builds.... become the speed....

Light blue is so underrated. There was one point around 40 mins, you should have played it first, and set up your card pull for purple draw. Ive been playing for a couple weeks and still lose quite a bit as im learning. I have to keep reminding myself of that. Watching you play helps so much because I can watch what you do differently.

3:11 that’s so wild because most dungeons can be solo’d on normal. Even some of the DLC dungeons can be solo’d on normal. I think VMA is harder than some dungeons.

This game is anything but easy 😂 tell your friends to trifecta, Cloudrest then can come back and tell me it’s easy. Anybody can do overland, it’s for the quests and story telling.

Started playing eso today after picking it up in steam sale, I’m a novice mmo player, I think the game looks amazing and the storyline is good but none of the enemies seem to lay a glove on me, had a hairy moment when about 9 dwarven spiders came for me but I just ran away, I haven’t died yet.

I think the easiest fix for the game would be, when you level up, it actually means something. 1 to 50 you are exactly the same because of scaling. You never have a sense of becoming powerful and that's extremely boring. Also eliminating potion buffs in pvp. I think with those two things, you could take a interesting but boring game and make it a lot more fun. Like you said 200 hrs then the fun starts, that's too long.

i just want an enemy that hits me and takes about 1/5th of my hp in one basic swing. AT LEAST 1/5th!

After playing this game for 2 weeks, I can say that the most "fun" way is to play without summons that serve as a tank, sword man or assassin type or something like that, only then the difficulty feels a little more
