Hi, I read one review that mentioned tuning is a problem...any comment about this?
@TimPetersonMusic2 жыл бұрын
I play the Decade Maple with all Evans Black Chrome batter heads and all Evans Black Resonant heads, no tuning problems at all Man.. Sure, heads may detune over time, but all drums do detune.. Other than that, the Decade Maple is an affordable pro-sounding kit for sure..

@@rogerkenworthy6380 You’re welcome, Man.. It’s a pleasure.. What configuration did you order? The 5 piece, the 7 piece or the 3 piece with the 24” kick?

@@TimPetersonMusic We have the five piece with five Istanbul cymbals. There was a deal from the store and they gave us the splash as well.

WOW! 22 - 12 - 14? So, this 22" bass drum... Is this a new 22" bass drum size in the Catalina Club series? And if it is, is it also 14" deep? Till now, I've seen only 18"(jazz), 20"(studio), and 24"(rock) sizes. Thanks in advance for your reply guys!

When might there be a call for traditional grip playing in concert snare applications?

@seanyan16244 жыл бұрын
Mr Alan Abel (Philadelphia Orchestra) himself used traditional grip in playing concert snare. It's a personal preference and based off, hence the name, tradition. Beginners and percussionists in general are only often encouraged to play matched grip only because they don't need to switch techniques when changing instruments.
