@9:55 Not only did the fans not care, they never bothered to notice. Having first heard the song in the early 80's on the radio (KQAK in San Francisco), I only discovered the video in about 2014 on YT and was amazed and impressed with Debora's looks, if anything. (Cute, quite frankly). Her specific look was awesomely unique, especially for the time, and fit the style of music better than anything you could have hoped for, or planned. Love the crap out of the vocals on this song. Just brilliant.

With every performance, she disappears as a human and becomes immersed with each note and vibration of the music. The song is her and she is the song, there is no separation.

Just seen them in Chicago a month ago, excellent band. ✌️
