I've applied this stuff multiple times and the top plastic has never come off that easily. Everytime I did it, it feels like I barely made it and it was a miracle I got the plastic off without the pad sticking to it and coming off the CPU

Have you ever removed it after? It looks like that is a lot of thermal material. I wonder how much of that squeezed out to the sides and if next time you can use half of the amount you used.

Do you have to keep the PTM7950 in the fridge before cutting and applying? Make sense to use some paper or something to create a template for the CPU that you can use. Worth using tape on the PTM in order to remove the protecting film easier and minimise tearing?

How long does this PCM last?
@j23523 ай бұрын
It last forever. I put it in an old laptop and after 4 years temps seem to be as good as day 1. Before that after 1 hour of office work fans were running always at full speed but since i put it in, it never goes full speed. You can check Linus review, it' seems it gets better with more use.

@@j2352bro I have a question. while applying the ptm 7950 on my cpu I accidentally tear the ptm. It breaks into many pieces. I rearrange it and make sure it covers the whole die of CPU. is it okay to use it like that?
@j23522 ай бұрын
@@kanekiken8609 I'm not sure but i think it will be ok because when you uninstall it, it look like a paste. I belive that the pieces will fuse together with the temperature and the pressure of the heatsink. Check and compare CPU temperature to see if you are in a normal range after installing. And then check after 1 month to see if it stays normal.
@kanekiken86092 ай бұрын
@j2352 I think it will become a paste too after making the laptop hotter. I try to test it on Dota 2 game and my temperature was 70°C from 90°C (old thermal paste - kryonaut). Do you think its good?
@j23522 ай бұрын
@@kanekiken8609 70°c gaming for a laptop is very good. Keep checking a few weeks later if it still the same temperature. If it's stays the same then you can forget about repasting, just general maintenance aka clean the dust that can clog the little airvents of a laptop and you are good. I did this over more than 4 years with my old laptop and no problem of overheating since i put PTM7950.

make sure to take him to the vet first thing, and if he isnt neutered you should think about it. unneutered cats can get in more fights and tend to wander off a lot more, especially since he was already an outside cat. its of course up to the owners, ive just had a few unneutered outside cats growing up, and there would just be one day they didnt come home.
@Pierrue3 ай бұрын
There's also the population problem. Unneutered cats will contribute to dozens of kittens ending up as strays, getting unalived at shelters, etc because there's too many of them. Not all of them will be lucky enough to find a good forever home. And of course it decreases their risk of cancer neutering them. As a responsible owner, neuter and spay your pets please.

Literally every natural cat ever. They find themselves at least the best three places to eat and sleep in safety. I feed and second home my neighbours cat to force them to seek treatment for his flea allergy and maintain his vax coverage that I pay for while they still refuse to surrender his chip ownership to me so I can add him to my cat's existing treatment plan. It's been several years now and he's always spent 12-18h a day keeping my older cat company as if he knows that he's legally skirting his owners property rights and the curtain type cat flap with no locking function makes my sofa technically no different than the bench in his owner's garden. Free cat is more certain than death and taxes.

Hi there, I have the same lens, but only renamed under the brand Carenar. I have been looking for a adapter for some time myself now, but although the Petri breach looks much like the EF the distance needs to be different. Petri breach mounts are available, but they ask way to much for them, compared to other mounts. It can be worth buying one, but if you only have one lens, it's a costly adventure! Good luck at making more video's, and hope you find a adapter!

So, your math wasn't wrong, it was just led astray. I did the math myself, and got a similar-ish answer. BUT it seems that Davini Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro don't have a MS timer, it's actually HH:MM:SS:FF; FF being frames. I also went and did a distance variance, because the bottle cap wasn't on the measuring tape, and so it had an enlarging factor. I would say 1 inch on the camera, is actually 1.1 inches. I counted 6 frames from 7inch to 6inch, 1 second / 24 frames = .0416 seconds x 6 frames is = .25 sec. To account the distance variable, .25 / 1.1 = .227 seconds per inch. .227 sec / 148.458 (3563/24) = .001529 sec per inch; 1 second / .001529 sec = 654.022 / 12in = 54.5 ft/s or 16.6 m/s or 37.2 mph That speed also is very close for the 6 inch to 5 inch
