Can one person help their dog walk does it take two people to use a sling my dog has DM he's pretty much lost the use of his back legs but he still wants to go with he's 76 lb though it's hard for me to get him in a standing position can you give me some advice

I found another way, by accident. There seems to be a little "pocket" directly behind the last tooth? I just make sure the pill goes directly behind that last tooth. And she can't spit it out. So she just swallows it! So far, this has worked on Maltipoos and Huskies. 🐶❤👍 I am ofcourse NOT any kind of pet medical professional. I'm just sharing what worked for me.

I have a Type 1 diabetic mix (sierra is part German shepherd and part lab). She hates needles to the point we’re giving her anxiety pills and they don’t work, and trying to bite (and she never did this before) and now off food only water. Help!!! We have tried many hugs and kisses but nothing works 😭😭😭 I’m so scared, Sierra is now an 11 year old neutered girl, she’s our everything!!! She’s now losing weight because she’s not eating😭what can we do? I’m willing to fight for her, any and all help please 🙏

I have a small dog that presently is suffering from Idiopathic Vastibular Disease. When I pry her mouth open and put the pill deep in to her mouth and as far down her throat as possible somehow she moves her tongue around and is able to push it out. If I crush the pill and add liquid and syringe it into her mouth she gets so much saliva and foam she's able to have it all run out of her mouth. I also can't get her to eat and same thing.. cannot even syringe broth into her as it and loads of saliva just run out of her mouth.

My veterinarian failed to administer the most basic life saving medicine: antibiotics, pain meds, laxatives. He failed to run the most basic diagnostic tests: blood tests, stool sample. He did basically nothing unless I asked him to of my own initiative (please give antibiotics, please run a stool sample, please give pain meds, etc.) My cat died under his care. His office scheduled 25 appointments and there were 15 walk ins in a 3 1/2 - 4 hr window. That is 10 pets per hour , or 6 minutes per pet. The last night if my cat's life I was seen last behind 39 pets. It is not even possible to treat disease in 6 minutes.

My dog was stiff in his hind quarters I thought maybe arthritis then found him with back legs paralyzed yesterday .vet said still has feelings in back legs and that's good and a chance he may walk again. Thanks for video I've been doing my best with a towel doing this today. Once while standing I had his rear legs under him and he showed signs of trying to use them for a moment. Luckily he doesn't seem to be in pain and just praying because of his age he will walk again or I'm not sure what options may be and don't wanna think about that for now.any suggestions on what I should or shouldn't do or where to find more information is greatly appreciated .

Few days back my 6months old male kitten stopped eating followed by vomiting and diarrhea... The next day tremor was seen and he became stiff like a piece of stone . Couldn't breathe... Thank you for an excellent presentation, very good information delivered in a clear and direct manner. In my experience veterinarians are not always good at explaining things to owners. I’ve been living with my springer spaniel’s epilepsy for four years now, he started seizing just after turning two years of age. His condition is idiopathic; confirmed by MRI and Spinal Fluid pathology. An initial dose of 60mg Phenobarbital controlled things well for twelve months. Seizure duration and severity were reduced but the frequency stayed around the same; around one a month. However, the frequency started to increase and he started cluster seizures, now, four years into the illness, he’s on 120mg Phenobarbital and 500mg Keppra and we’re losing the battle. Multiple seizures in a day over several successive days and has just had his first episode of Status Epilepticus. 51 seizures so far this year and it’s mid July. He had 44 in total last year. Libromide caused severe side effects and we had to withdraw that hence now trying the Keppra. No good outcome for my boy I fear.
