You need some Signs on the walls something personal! I'm an artist and an up n' coming sign painter I'm wondering if there would be a market for Signage for home pubs or if you could recommend a forum or group??

Great set up! Do you have any issues around storing the kegs outside, especially in summer? I see a few people do this, will the chiller unit handle it and prevent it from being foamy?

Great little machine but I had to switch mine off due to the annoying fan noise kicking in all the time cooling the keg And I’m told it strains the machine to chill it again Mine is is my kitchen and it definitely isn’t quiet as some reviews have mentioned I just want to use mine on the weekend so find this a bit of a faff

I cannot get my temp indicator below 10 degrees! Everything in and tight, blue levers at top dont snap shut on top of keg,,,any thoughts?
@ZG00023 жыл бұрын
It looks like it sits right in the middle, you are going to have the homebrew crew hating on it and then the supermarket crew hating on it. Initial cost isn't too bad but I'd be worried about the longevity of the system and then the beer kits could do with being at £1 a pint. Just seems like a middle ground like a coffee pod machine which are great for 4 weeks and then you either get sick of paying for the pods or they aren't hitting the spot and you end up grinding beans and tamping.

Great setup. Does the beer in the box allow you to disconnect and connect when needed? I though once connected it cannot be disconnected with it be spoiled?

I can be disconnected because it's got its own tap like boxed wines

Seems more like a toy not a brewing kit, a hundreds bucks can get you set on a decent low budget system with more control over the outcome of the beer. Where do you put your sacks of ingridients for flavor? dryhop?

£1.50 a pint? Doesn't sound like a waste of money
@jayjazz37663 жыл бұрын
The idea of home brewing was to save money. With this there is the expense of buying the unit and then buying the fresh press at around £15 quid a pop each time. Then there is all the work involved and the time it takes to brew when there are the likes of B&M and Home Bargains selling 5Ltr kegs of Hobgoblin , Pedigree, Doom Bar etc on offer for £11.99. Even at full price £15 in Tesco and ASDA they're ready to drink without all the hassle.
@barrydaly71743 жыл бұрын
Ok, all fair points if is your only concern is price. You can buy a toy plane fully assembled for a quid in the corner shop. Or you could pay a whole fiver!! and put together your own Air fix model that is in some part your own creation I think that's kind of the point to this "Nespresso" type of home brew.

The cost is only a side issue. My idea of a pub pint is in an actual pub of one sort or another. I dont fancy going through all the hassle of brewing my own stuff for more than it costs to buy a pint in an actual pub then sit staring at the four walls in my living room while Im supping it. I built a small pub in my back garden. Its basically a log cabin furnished like a pub on the inside with a proper bar and all the trimmings. After it was built I wanted something genuine looking in the way of serving beer and I discovered Pint 365 where you can buy a real old fashioned real ale beer pump and beer-in-a-box which is the same as a real pub pint at slightly lower cost. The whole thing has been a god-send during lockdown. Its worth a look.
