Para min, como filla dun dos membros da banda (Pedro Alonso Fiaño), escoitar estas cancións ten unha importante carga emocional. Campana de Pau foi un grupo efímero composto por amigos naturais da vila de Noia, case todos falecidos xa, que tan só publicou dous traballos: O Tiroliro (1981) e Bailaches, bailaches (1983). Todos tiñan outras profesións que atender e o proxecto non progresou, pero comparto a opinión de que os dous discos son estupendos. A miña peza preferida é Pombiña mensaxeira, do primeiro traballo O Tiroliro.

I won this album on a phone-in competition on Beacon Radio back in 1981. Still got it and still like it, but I don't know were the time's gone.

I was involved in doing some production work with Beacon Radio back in the day. Nice to hear the name again! My friend (programme researcher) and I thought this album was going to lead to something and thought Dave Tregunna was a cracking bass player. We both became massive fans of Lords of the New Church.

I've known about this album since it's release and it's still one of my favorites. I wish people had believed Stiv and done something about the world back then, we might not be in the "pickle" that we are in now. But then that was what "Punk" was all about. Thanks for posting it.

Oh my God - this is an amazing punk rock that touches on George Orwell"s 1984. I had the good luck to see this group - Anthem For The Future. Wish Stiv had lived!!!
