Hi Alf when you fitted the new indicators where did you connect the halo light wire to?

Hi buddy so uk hasn’t got any connection for the halo. I’m not the best at electrical.

sick video mate, what do you think about the MT10 vs your MT09?
@alf786 Жыл бұрын
The MT10 is better for sure in power and suspension , weight holds it down on highways won’t fly around or move about . The sound and just pure crazy power is enjoyable. The new one 2022 is a little better and more easier to flick but not as much as the mt09 which I do miss. Like going round bends the mt09 is better on turning in more Flickable. Other than that I love the mt10 can’t go back to mt09 easily! Mt09 feels like a litre toy but has great engine and gen is better overall the gen 2 was just more straight up better and gen3 better flickability. The mt09 with high up handle bars did my shoulders in !! I’m more happier with myself a little more forward !! Mt10 is a must !!

I'm about 250lb and wheelie a lot. Stock suspension is pretty much shot and i'm looking at aftermarket. Is this suspension "beefy" enough for a larger rider that wheelies? i try not to slam the front end, but sometimes i run out of RPMs and it comes down pretty hard. stock suspension does like it and i can feel it bottoming out.

Looks like fun. Are those the Yamaha lever guards with built in indicators? Any chance of a quick bike video and your thoughts on it? Cheers👍🔥
@alf7862 жыл бұрын
Hi thanks for your question. These are Oxford lever guards had to get some quick. I’d Perosnal would have bought evo tech ones. I don’t recommend these as they don’t get too tight and start to move. They are not screwed in. I will be def doing a video around the bike soon with my thoughts. I used to own a street triple and had the mt09 gen 2 and gen 3. Enjoyed the mt09 very much. This mt10 gives me stability and power in the mid range. Stability as it heavier and stays grounded on motorways but also is ability to fall into the turns but doesn’t come up as quick. Brakes are so so. Needs some brembo calipers. I’ll say more later on a video. Ask me anything you wish. I think you should test out the KTM 1290 r and the s1000r the competition before deciding. The main thing which I like about this bike is the engine and reliability and of course the sound it makes. Pop on a decat and boy smiles all around

Looks great, congratulations! Sure sounds good. On the pegs, unless they lowered them on the 2022 revamp, I found they were fine on track on the previous generation. I could drag knees with no foot peg dragging problems. Perhaps a little adjustment to your body position is in order?

Thanks for the positive comment, and helping me to see what I could do. As I’m a little short 5.65ft it not easy on this big boy.
