Any issues with excess noise/heat/ exhaust fumes migrating into the bed while driving?

Yes, all of those are factors when sitting in the bed of a truck. They can be mitigated by installing a Maxx fan in your fiberglass cap and sealing the truck cap to the truck cab window as I have shown in one of my videos. Earbuds work fine as far as noise is concerned.

There are no avenues at the moment, but my engineer and I have plans to review some of the safety concerns with sitting in the bed of a truck

I've been using just a tube for 3 years now with NO issues, you do not need to put it in a tire.

if just a tube works for you, then I wouldn't do anything extra either. I tried just a tube for a while and they kept popping which is why I came up with a more robust solution. Probably a number of factors that can cause the tube to not work well like parking outside, camper shell design, and heat factors when traveling.

Looking into building a set of these, I know legally they are fine for most 50states but Canada is questionable. Wanted to ask if you knew?

Sorry, not sure about Canadian laws but I can't imagine having any issues when you are tied into the frame with a 5 point seat harness, covered by a truck cap with a CO detector installed. I also recommend an 8 foot truck bed

After I finish the next prototype, I'm going to look into bringing these seats back to market with some improvements. These seats won't work in a slide in truck camper which was one of the motivators for creating the truck camper hybrid.

no, this is the leer 122 which I believe is the tallest cap in the US market.
