I am all about the narrative. My Elf and Ogre Armies are unique and units named/designated.

I am a complete KoW nutter, lol. Yes they are all single based, then put on the multi base. And I don't apply shade on Elves to keep them shiny, that's how I roll with my Elves.

The terrain basing is Scrublands from GeekGaming Scenics

The mark on the Giant's face was war paint. All of my Ogres have a different war paint according to their unit type.

My primer coats go according to the army. Brown for Ogres as it makes a better base for the browns/reds/tans. Same for Goblins with green and Elves being green.

Having been to the Wildcat the last two years, I honestly think you guys are way off base and making a mountain out of a molehill. The event was nice and friendly, and I say that as one of the two guys tied for worst sports this year. I do think there's a little difference in that the Wildcat is trying to line up with the old GT events where Best Overall was the big draw, versus a move towards the top end being Battle points only or a perfunctory addition of scores that don't provide any real differentiation. I'm not convinced one is any better than the other in terms of fun, but I have to think there's room for both without a bunch of IMO petty sniping going on. Honestly, between this stuff and the Anti-Saloon League-style complaints about people being drunk on what is effectively a vacation (seriously this is an insanely bad look, especially given that society is moving towards being more accepting of people using substances not less), I feel a big disconnect on just about everything here. I get this is either going to be an ignored or deleted comment, but the level of dour stuff getting pushed here is a little concerning to me. We've got a good game, and a big enough tent that we can facilitate a bunch of different play styles. There's no reason to have fights and cast stones about stuff, and it really makes me rethink spending time listening to you guys or putting much stock in what you have to say.

what Rossi says about focusing on growth is 100% on point. Masters is just a small ripple when growth is concerned. There are plenty of other things that can be done to grow your local scene. if masters doesn't work for you, no one can tell you not to run demo days or campaigns etc

For the unit number comment...you could do something like; only the first 2-3 hordes unlock, after that they are "irregular"

After watching this I would be fine with League being absorbed. Although I feel like they already are a theme list of KoM. So they essentially are just a flavor of that army already. Not their own thing. I think the way that Mantic does it now is fine with theme lists. The diversity is fun. But I'd be fine with whatever they decide. I do see a need for culling though I agree. Go ahead and delete Ratkin Slaves. I'm down.
