This is something i was thinking about about a decade or so ago. Back then I thought it would take a couple hundred years before it would come true. Glad to see I was off by only 190 years. Now it just needs to become a world wide practice.

Can someone, anyone explain why recycled concrete cannot be used again to make concrete? Thanks
@rockcrushingrecycling9880
@rockcrushingrecycling9880 Жыл бұрын
Not Structurally sound for the composition of new concrete ... the stone however can be used and is already used for binding the concrete together in Europe 🇪🇺

In Europe and especially UK 🇬🇧... they use the stone for private use concrete ... not for roads or civil engineering purposes

It should be rinse before adding to crushers to avoid soil contamination. Recycling be worth re recyling.

This is really just a reasonable sized mobile plant in use because it's probably close to the source concrete and to the buyer. There are permanent crusher operations that make this look like a toy. I have no idea on how to find it now but there was a video of one operation that was virtually automatic apart from trucks feeding the plant and buyers trucking away the finished product. Trucks would dump directly into a hopper that fed the crushing process and at the end of the line there were massive silos for want of a better name filled with the various grades of material that loaded directly into their customers trucks.
