While I would love to do a best moments video, I’m not fully sure what my best moments would be. The only content that really had any traction of mine was over 8-9 years ago at least. I could try using those? Live streaming I’m all for, just the few times I’ve tried lately, it’s been me myself and I so wasn’t sure if that was helping anything. 😅 I can definitely try again though! Thanks for the advice and watching!

@@TVG626 What I mean is, if you watch your video back, pick out your favorite clips from each video and turn them into small clips for shorts. It's just about getting exposure to find your audience. I applaud you for putting in the effort to get better. Just dont give up. You only fail if you quit. Everything is a learning opportunity. Watch some videos on helping channels grow, take the tips, and apply them. Keep going. Next thing you know, you will have your audience. You obviously enjoy it because you are doing it regularly without getting paid for it. So when people say "yt isn't for everybody" I would say it is for you because you have actually been posting for a while. Now you just have to refine. You got this, trust the process. Never quit. I know lots of people also say that its a younger crowd, but there are older people who game too and it may be to your advantage to speak to the audience that you want to speak to and focus on that.

@@ThisGuyRightHere353 I definitely do enjoy it! This is one thing I don’t want to give up on! I’m at least able to monetize my videos but that is definitely not a requirement for me wanting to do this. It’s nice yes but not the main reason. I want to at least attempt making people happy and entertained and feel like this could help me to become a better person in the social field. I may definitely try out some more livestreams so I can attempt to connect with people. I haven’t dabbled too much in making shorts but I’m willing to learn how to do those! This means a lot to receive this kind of advice from you! I’m always open to ideas and advice as it’s just me on this channel. I’ve watched some of those tip videos before but I feel like learning from actual people may help me a bit more. Not dissing on those types of videos, do give good advice but learning from actual people feels more impactful to me. Thank you so much!

Hi there! The algorithm brought me to you, so I can't say I've seen much of your content. But have you considered investing in a green screen so you can have backgrounds behind you, instead of your living space? That's one piece you might consider looking at. Same thing with objects in frame like your fans, etc. Think about what you want your audience to see, and plant those things in frame; remove everything else. Think of it like chekov's gun in writing - only have things in frame that are going to payoff, visually. Another thing to explore is VTubing. It might seem weird, but a LOT of young people are tuning in to VTubers. If budget is an issue, PNGTubing also helps, but I've heard that there's something liberating about streaming from a persona rather than yourself. You're not risking judgement about yourself, just about your persona, so you can be free to be as wacky, energetic, etc., as you feel like without it reflecting on you the person. There's something psychological at play there, but it's why people are able to tap into a lot of confidence and energy from behind an avatar. Lastly, a lot of younger people aren't consuming a lot of long form content. Their attention span, like a lot of us, has been fried pretty horribly. So if people are clicking off of your video, it's not necessarily a reflection of you, but a reflection of the state of dopamine seeking, dopamine flooding content that causes a person to click and click and click until the next hit of dopamine floods their heads. You can be competitive in this market, just recognize the state of your customer - most of the digital audience (myself included) are all dopamine junkies at this point. Hope this helps! Godspeed my friend!

Thanks for the advice my friend! I actually do have a green screen but unfortunately zero space to use it. I’ve used it before in the past when I had room but also back when my pc and equipment was way worse than it is now. Can’t seem to win here. 😅 My setup isn’t professional at all in any capacity sadly. I may see if there’s a way in OBS to blur the background or do it in post editing. Someday I’ll hopefully have the best of both worlds and be able to have the setup I’d prefer with green screen usage again! I’ve also received a tip to try cutting out all the moments I’m not speaking or such. To cut down on time and hopefully keep attention. It’s not as easy for me to do but I definitely try to be friendly and entertaining. At least I try to be. Haha. Appreciate the advice!

I'm not a creator, so I don't know if this is good advice, but after skimming through your content, there's one or two things that I think might help. - Gaming content generally appeals to younger audiences, say 13 to 22, so pop culture references or games popular with those groups might help. (though you do already have videos on things like minecraft, fnaf, etc, so idk) - It seems the type of videos you make are similar to Markiplier's. Part of that type of video is being somewhat energetic, talking to the audience directly, not being afraid to yell, etc. -Your setup, while better than average, isn't doing you any favors. Although it's very expensive, a microphone that would let you yell/whisper, and a camera that can focus on just you and blur out the background a little, would really help, cause people watch the camera for your facial reactions and stuff. - A lot of people who make videos have a 'brand' or something you know them for. JSchlatt has his muttonchops and NY hat, Markiplier had his red hair and charisma, Jacksepticeye always says "TOP OF THE MORNING TO YOU LADDIES" at the start of his vids, stuff like that. - While you do have some editing, I think cutting out some parts of playthroughs that aren't engaging can help a lot. You don't want any more than like 10 seconds without you talking. I do think you are doing a lot of things well, and unfortunately the algorithm plays a tremendously large part in getting your videos noticed by lots of people (heck, this video itself was recommended to me by the algorithm).
@TVG626
@TVG626 6 ай бұрын
This advice is very welcome! Unfortunately as far as the setup goes, I’m stuck with what I got. My current PC is a lot better than my previous ones but still unable to run hardcore games sadly. I’m at least happy this pc can run and record most games I’m able to play at 60fps. My older computers couldn’t even get close to that. The mic from the headset is the best mic I’ve ever had. Before, background noise was very clear but now it’s near none. Though when I do peak it, it’s unfortunately a bit muffled from loudness. There may be some filters I could toy around with to help possibly. I’ll definitely try editing a bit more that way. A part of me just feels like I don’t want the viewers to miss out on anything but you’re probably right. I’ll try that way and see how it goes. To keep it engaging like you suggest. My camera is about 10 years old at least. I’m just glad it still works. I do want to upgrade it someday. I’ll see if there’s possibly an OBS filter or something I can use to focus on me more than my background. I know my setup is far from professional. At least this video was founded by someone. Since I can only play indie games really right now, I feel like it’s difficult to be a part of KZbin’s latest algorithm. I do try making the thumbnails enticing at least. I do hope someday I’ll find the thing that allows me to get my foot in the door. Even if it’s a long time from now if it ever even happens. I’ll definitely think of catch phrases or such. I’m totally open to suggestions! Thanks for taking the time to watch and submit some ideas! It REALLY means a lot to me! Hope to see you in my later videos!
