1:47 It would have been cool if Light just suddenly decided to tell everything to L in this scene. Even if He would probably get executed, there was a chance that L decides that If Light's memory (Losing the memory of the death note rule) is gone he will no longer be Kira and there will be no need to execute Light after that. Light forfeits the ownership of the death note and loses all the memory about the death note and L burns both of the death notes. Happy Ending...

I think if this happened, Ryuk would probably kill Light. It wouldn't be a happy ending for Light and his family but there is still a very very small chance that Ryuk doesn't kill Light. Maybe Ryuk is like: "you gave me apples when I wanted so I will not kill you bye lol". Real happy ending haha..
