Love everything you said but people need to be more honest about how atrocious Loyer is on defense. When he's not dropping 27 he should not be playing the minutes he plays. If he can't drop 12+ points per game, if he can't hit his wide open 3's, I would rather have Heide out there. He's not a top 10 guard in the league in my opinion. Top 10 most inconsistent guard that's for sure.

First I agree that Purdue is a very good team worthy of their high ranking, perhaps higher than currently noted. That said, when any team relies too heavily on one player, that team can be put in major jeopardy if others don't play above their averages to compensate when the one underachieves. Given basketball is clearly a "team sport" historically good teams with a great player struggle against better "whole" teams. Arizona overall is, by many accounts so far, a better "whole" team than Purdue is currently. My honest hope for this game is the refs call a fair game & not go "Duke" on the Cats. It's no secret that they have given preferential calls to Eddy in the past, but hopefully they'll not do that given the importance of this match up & coverage. Lastly I hope nobody is injured so both teams can move on from this game & continue on their paths that may lead to another game between each other in the tourney. Go Cats!
