Hainan seems really cool, I live in Vietnam and it's so close. I've always wanted to go, but there aren't any affordable routes despite it being so close. Much much cheaper to go to bangkok or kuala lumpur. I tried to see if there were any cruises of sorts from danang or something, but there aren't any :(

There must be something! Prices for flights to Haikou are quite attractive sometimes. Also, it might be worth checking if you can get to a close place on the mainland first, and then take a ferry to Hainan, in China. There is even a ferry that can carry cars!

I heard it's a popular thing to drive through it and the best route is the western one. Also there is a volcano somewhere around Haikou! I'll Definitely go to Haikou next time

This is exactly why you need an AD to keep everything running smoothly and on schedule. I used to think the director was the most important person on set but quickly realized the AD is really the one running the show and keeping things on track.

Hi, Im in Chengdu too I wanna pass motorcycle drive license since i don't have drive license from my own country. I wanna know if DMVs has english tests for motorcycles ?? Because i heard that it has english tests only for cars

My driving license from Ukraine has motorcycle category so it was added automatically to my Chinese driving license. I remember hearing that it is kind of troublesome to apply for motorbike licence, maybe it is because of the language? But even riding petrol bikes inside city is tricky because by the law they can't go inside the 3rd ring of Chengdu. It is not followed very strictly but is enforced occasionally, and I am sure is pretty annoying to the riders

There was a saying about typical features in Chengdu's different areas that east is poor, west is dear, north is unsafe, south is rich...but I think now it's changed a little bit
