I was told that the listening position should be at least 2meter preferable more, away from the diffusors, is this correct?

Hi there! I have 3 questions : 1) Is the table compulsory or can I build the booth without it ? 2) Could I record a guitar in there if I stand/sit in diagonal ? 3) Can I have the door side built in another side ? Many thanks,

Could this serve as a practice booth for a musician living in an apartment? Let’s say a violin, flute, accordion? What would be the noise-reduction like? Thanks.

Thanks for the video. I‘m used to be squeezed in tight corners of a stage, playing on lousy house kits sacrificing a 2nd crash for more space for all other band members on stage. All those things us drummers have to endure. Few weeks back I had the opportunity to give it a try (no concert, just sitting behind and playing). The drums were too loud and sounded terrible and I felt like an animal in a cage. Conlusion: Playing behind a drum shield would be an absolute no go for me!!!

I absolutely love the design of this booth! With some fine-tuned absorbers, I bet it could sound amazing. Right now, it does sound a bit boxy, though. Maybe you could include some extra absorbers with the booth to help improve the acoustics?
@t.akustik4 ай бұрын
The booth doesn't need any additional absorption, but if you leave the curtains open, it will change the sound to a less dry one. :)
@Harvey-te9fgАй бұрын
This doesn't sound boxy. Not sure you know what a boxy sound is.
@VocusPocusАй бұрын
The sound quality is reminiscent of a small box with minimal damping, absorption, or diffusion. While it's true that there are worse isobooths on the market, and a boxier sound is indeed possible, it would be reasonable to include at least some basic acoustic treatment for the price.

Really interesting video. Is it possible to optimize the acoustics of a square-shaped 10 m2 room for a woodwind player? I would like to use the room for practice and as a very neutral sounding space (but not too dry) in order to record on Pro Tools and add a touch of high-quality reverb.
@t.akustik4 ай бұрын

@@t.akustik Wow! Danke!!!! Here is another question. Is it possible to optimize a room even more for one particular instrument as we know the general frequency range and other characteristics of a given instrument. Of course this assumes that no other instruments will be played in the room.

I don't know where this ranks for the price, it's more expensive then the acoustic vocal booth so is it better then that but it's cheaper then the vocal booth bundle so is the vocal booth bundle better? I will say I like the look of the design, it almost looks like a super version of the vocal head booth with the material!
@t.akustik5 ай бұрын
The Vocal Booths are different. Your needs will help you decide which is better. The PET Vocal Booth is much lighter in weight than the other one. It is assembled very quickly due to its plug-in system. It also offers curtains with magnetic closure. The Vocal Booth Bundle in comparison is heavier but has a plexiglass window pane which can be swapped for foam modules :)
