They are based in MINNESOTA. This information is worthless anyplace south of there (basically the entire United States). Phosphate are in the municipal water that you use to fill the pool. Phosphates are in an plant droppings or pollen. They are the primary source of nutrients that cause algae growth. I guess if you live in Minnesota where a pool water is consistently cold and the season is ridiculously short that you don’t need to worry about phosphates. The other 95%b of the U.S. should test and treat. These “so called experts” need to realize their advise is worthless outside of their 20 mile service area

Install a CO2 automation and never have to worry about adding acid again for PH. Great video! You guys make me laugh and that's amazing because most pool video instructions are dull and boring. Thank you.

Wow. Great video. I've worked in the pool maintenance industry for 10 years now in Northern California. I've always had a hard time explaining to customers/clients what phosphates are and how to treat. Very useful information. Great video guys!!

The best on this topic i have seen so far. Thank you. My phosphate levels are extremely high and i spent a fortune trying to bring them down, not to mention the pain in the butt with running the pump 24/7 and cleaning the filter over and over again with each treatment. I’ve found spending my time and energy keeping the pool bakanced has made the phosphate level irrelevant, as you confirmed.

Thanks for the feedback, Darren. I am glad we were able to confirm what you saw in your own pool. We are looking for ideas for future videos so if you have ideas we are looking for them.

Would you please make a video about explaining pristine blue
@davegust43786 жыл бұрын
Thanks, CC for your comment. I am not sure I understand what you are asking. If Pristine Blue is a product I am unfamiliar with it. If you want to know how to keep your pool crystal clear, to use your namesake, then that is answerable but entails all of the 5 keys to good pool care: Circulation, Filtration, Cleaning, Testing, and Chemistry. Here is a link to BioGuard's page on the 5 keys. www.bioguard.com/pool-answers/pool-care-basics/5-keys-pool-care I hope that is helpful.
