the problem with those is - as you turn your axle moves, elongating the seal, they let the crud in and then the crud has no way out. that's why the factory outer "seals" are the way they are.

Why go thru all that just change the o2 sensors not that expensive I just did 2 downstreams on my Chrysler 300 total was 73.00 and it took 20 mins no problem. One of the easiest repairs you can do.

I have a 96 Auto D21 Hardbody and I was wondering if my idle is a little bouncy and low could it be that I turn the T.P.S CLOCKWISE? Or it is always counter clockwise. Also it idles at like 900-1k during park then when I drop it into Drive the idle drops down could this be a problem of a fuel injector and fuel filter. Please let know I need help.
@NickGАй бұрын
@@troyledz1961 if you turn it one way it lowers the idle the other way raises the idle. I don’t think your problem is in the fuel injector. Try adjusting the throttle position sensor. If that don’t work you might have a good ole fashion vacuum leak.

How’s the Amazon bearing holding up now?? I’m gonna be doing this project sometime during the weekend and am trying to decided if it’s worth buying the “higher end” expensive part so I don’t have to do it twice but if yours has held up for two years that’s seems plenty quality!!

Quaker State made a bad name for themselves back in the day, but I’ve read their synthetic is pretty good. Hard to beat $2.50/qt. for full synthetic. I think one oil change would be enough for me to want an oil filter relocator :)

If I lock my left turn signal it flashes both rear signals (just pushing it down far enough to turn on is fine) so I’m assuming it’s probably the switch and I don’t feel like diagnosing it more properly than me switching the bulbs around earlier today. It’ll be a good excuse to pull that metal panel off and see what that bare ended yellow wire is/was that’s hanging down near the footwell, I’m assuming it was used for the radar detector that I can see a previous owner used to have as scribbled into the fuse guide in the owners manual. She’s getting close to being able to drive as much as I want to without feeling like I’m damaging it by driving it 🤣 Rear suspension and the oil filter housing/making sure the tranny isn’t leaking as well are next.
