Liminal Archives kept decanonizing and rewriting a lot of stuff I would be reading so I never felt like reading anything. I wanted a more consistent narrative being worked on together by a community, but what I got was a community that was all kinda doing its own thing and then decided later that half of it kinda sucked. Was a lot cooler when I just pretended it was all its own thing

it also feels more hardcore and exciting than just a white room that you can't take pictures

@@kleeraly honestly I love the album and didn't think the distortion got in the way too much of understanding the lyrics, I think that point was a bit too subjective, the whole album of love songs thing is true though. You obviously know what you're talking about on a technical level and I have nothing but respect for that 😊

@@iamw1ltomnom518 I mean I wouldn't call it a 6 anymore afterwards, the album really does slap and I have plenty of bits of songs stuck in my head, but it's hard to ignore that sections like in Raw are the same frequency as the instruments and blend in just a little too much in the mix.

I literally analyzed the mixing and compared it to TDP, questioned the lyrics, though I probably could have compared them to the lyrical writing of TDP, and again, it was a reaction. If you saw me comparing and contrasting the mixing of the albums as “whining” you should probably read the definition of “criticism” a few more times.

Criticism is literally pointing out things that you dislike about something. Plus, I LITERALLY LIKE THE ALBUM. You would know that and understand that if you actually paid attention to the video, but all this is doing is proving my point about the fans I make fun of in this video that call anyone who doesn't like the new vocal mixing "haters." Literally my only problems with the album are the vocal mixing and lyrics, the album is carried by its grooves AS I SAY PLENTY in the video and compliment PLENTY in the video, and I even added the songs I like and dislike to the description in hopes to end this brainrot. But yes, when I get a mic preamp for my SM7B I'll definitely make vocal covers without drowning it in distortion.

I'll definitely be getting around to it! I'm sort of working through the articles in a linear connecting manner and currently approaching level 4
