I love that you have done your indepth study. ❤👍 Good on you for that. I followed the same Guidelines you have presented here in my own reading & studying. But my beginning Pt was different from yours and not from the 480yrs before solomon's temples were built. Still, I love that you sesrched & quoted the same scriptures.

Hi, would you be so kind to demo the Brute EQ pedal? I can`t find a demo comparing the pedal on and off. Great playing . Thanks

It would be nice a demo comparing bypassed pedal and pedal on.

I have another question: Is the tone knob at 10 or is it fully closed? Thank you
@lawsonstone-jazzandstuff134 Жыл бұрын
I don't recall specifically but my usual set up is tone set on 10. This particular guitar did not need anything to capture the classic ES175 sound. Sadly, I no longer own this guitar.
@robertogiannetto806 Жыл бұрын
@@lawsonstone-jazzandstuff134 Thanks. Why did you sell the ES 175?
@lawsonstone-jazzandstuff134 Жыл бұрын
@@robertogiannetto806 I had THREE ES175's! 2 were this model, and one was the 1959 VOS. I kept the VOS and sold the other two, but they were splendid guitars. I bought them during the CME blow out sale several years back, when they were going for about $1500 each!
@lawsonstone-jazzandstuff134 Жыл бұрын
@@robertogiannetto806 I loved it, but I over-extended guitar purchases and ended up with TWO of these plus an ES165 and a 1959 VOS ES175... I had to thin the herd and recover some cash.

Dr. Stone, this is a great summary, not only about how scholars date Exodus, but how they estimate a date for any Biblical book! Thanks! I'm curious about what you think of David Rohl's proposal that the Exodus took place even earlier than 1400 BC.
@lawsonstone-jazzandstuff1342 жыл бұрын
Rohl's theory has the problem that it requires the re-dating of every event from 1550 to 1200 BC and even beyond. All those date adjustments can't be defended. I like the idea of relating my efforts to chronological structures already worked out by experts outside any concern for my particular question. Rohl has been around a long time, and has not persuaded many scholars with access to the primary sources.

Seriously great job. The ToneMaster Twin just has a sterile sound. Some recording tricks need to be tweaked to fatten the notes.

I think the 175/Princeton combo is perfect. The amp tends to brighten up the darker tone of the guitar a bit yielding a really balanced jazz tone. Nice playing too.
