You can’t restore a locomotive when it’s already scrapped, plus you need funding, experience, and members to do it.

The WHITE PASS 🇺🇸 🌎 🇨🇦 AND YUKON 🇨🇦 ROUTE was originally built from Skagway, Alaska 🇺🇸 to Whitehorse, Yukon .🇨🇦 Yukon Territory 🇨🇦 was where all of the GOLD of that 1897 KLONDIKE GOLD RUSH was actually to be found. By the time that this narrow gauge railroad was completed all the way to Whitehorse in 1900, the Klondike Gold Rush, which had been centered around Dawson City, was winding down. However, the WP&YR had served various 'end of rail' stations within British Columbia and Yukon in the interim, easing the Klondikers' passage over the steep mountainous Chilkoot and / or White Pass, on their way by foot, horse, trail and then steamship, raft, bateau or barge down the Yukon River Edit: TO DAWSON! 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 🇺🇸 🌎 🇺🇲 💍 😇 💍 🇺🇸 🌎 🇺🇲 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦

The Scrappers Torch should be Confiscated so that we save more steam from scrap.

If I was president of the United States I’ll order the restoration of 5,000 Steam Locomotives.
@ChargerusPrime3 күн бұрын
No. You're probably never going to be president and there AREN'T 5000 steam locomotives left in America to begin with. You can't restore an engine if it's already been scrapped for over 70 years.
@maxwellwalcher642010 күн бұрын
Yes we can restore that Engine.

a steel strike and a business slow-down , in 1959-60 meant that steam was no longer needed in most railroads. business was still lagging because of the recession of 1955. even though many of the steam locos were only 10 years old they were still labor-intensive machines. if you look at the pie chart of expenses , you will see that labor was the largest of all the segments followed by fuel. anything that a company could do to shrink those expenses , you know they were going to do.

I would restore Northern Pacific 36 SP&S 904 Canadian National 2168 and Burlington Route 5632.
@ChargerusPrime3 күн бұрын
These were ALL scrapped decades ago. Almost 70 years ago for the NP and especially the SP&S challenger. 5632 died because of Rick Jensen being completely stupid and foul. She was scrapped in the 70s.
