RUDE customer service !! I had previously read that since acquisition of Robomow by MTD the customer service went into the septic tank. BUT WOW !!! Just spent 20 min. on the phone with Robomow customer service. I played along as long as possible .... but it was apparent that from the first 15 seconds the service dude was out to pick a fight. Unnecessarily rude. Then .... when the guy did not understand that wire resistance decreases with larger wire diameter .... he got harrumphy. HAHAHA! I asked him if he might have fallen asleep during physics class. He said I was insulting him and he hung up. He offered zero assistance before "my insult". Be advised. I like the machine .... but do not look for help.

Purchased this unit on homedepot.com. I ran the perimeter wire following the instructions diligently, started the setup process, and the unit displays an error message. I called support and the only person who can help me is on vacation (after being hung up on 2 times). Asked for a supervisor, sent to voicemail. I'll be returning this ASAP. Don't buy this! They don't have support for the amount of people buying these.

If when it cuts you have to follow along behind it to do the remote control thing why not just push a lawnmower?

I don't see the difference in the grass level. Did it really cut anything? What is the tallest grass it can handle. Right now all I can tell is it rolls okay....lol

ive owned 2 of these in the past; the grass clippings are cut very fine into a mulch. I plan on purchasing another one this week as a matter of fact, as I left the other 2 along with all my belongings at the house I sold

+blackkjuice the motor is quiet compared to the Husqvarna. is it electric or gas?

+Paul Castro its electric and runs on a rechargeable battery. I did actually purchase a new one, but the day I put it out to cut, one of the blades (which were $75 a pair) came off, so I sent the entire thing back, not just because of that, but because it was really too slow and took too long for my 3/4 acre of land; maybe I should have wired it to cut 3-4 different zones instead of one big zone
