I love The Olsen Gang movies. I bought the boxset in spring 2019 together with the Norwegian equivalent. In Sweden, were im from, i watched the Jönssonligan movies that are the swedish equivalent. Would love to see how Hollywood versions of The Olsen Gang movies would work. And i think Timothy Dalton would fit as Egon, Keanu Reeves as Benny & Wayne Knight as Kjeld. Its 1 of my alltime favorite movie franchises. And i think it deserves a big recognition & be reviewed by more awsome KZbinrs like James Rolfe, mostly known as Angry Video Game Nerd, from Cinemassacre. I also love The Olsen Gang Theme. 💙👏🙏

I have double-checked some of the Japanese subtitles using chatgpt and as far as I can see they are wrong to the point of making the movie unintelligible. For example, at 7:21 he says: "Hr. Olsen jeg håber ikke de opfatter det her som noget personligt. Jeg vil nødig have at de fik en opfattelse af at jeg har noget imod dem som menneske, hr. Olsen, det er på ingen måde tilfældet. Men det kan man desværre ikke altid tage hensyn til." Which roughly translates to: "Mr. Olsen, I hope you don't perceive this as something personal. I would hate for you to get the impression that I have something against you as a person, Mr. Olsen, that is in no way the case. But unfortunately, that's not always something one can take into consideration." The Japanese subtitles say: "【怪しげな黒服男】オールソンさん、あなたはこのことを他の人に話していないと信じていますよ 私があなたに対して個人的に話す内容は知る由もないでしょうね いつまでも長々と延ばせないんですよ" Put this through chatGPT and it is translated to "【Mysterious Man in Black】Mr. Olson, I believe that you have not spoken to anyone else about this matter. You would have no way of knowing the content of what I personally discuss with you, would you? We cannot drag this on forever." I think anyone would agree with me that the inaccuracy of this is jarring. Hopefully this can clear some confusion for other people looking for japanese subtitles for this movie.

alot can and should be said about the Olsen Banden Movies. One thing i will mention is that people should pay close attention to the many statements and explanations the older Police investigator (played by Axel Strøbye) directs towards his younger police colleague in the movies. there is some profound truths spilled out among all the comedy and satire. og ellers så der bare at sige : Skide Godt, Egon! Du Var GENIAL =)

Træls at Odense Kommune ikke havde lyst til at supporte Bytrafikkens museum, for de havde ellers et par af de helt gamle busser også, som at pensionerede chauffører var med til at vedligeholde. Men kommunen gad ikke st støtte med lidt penge for at museet kunne fortsætte, så der mistede Odense et museum der omhandlede al den offentlige transport der havde været i byen lige siden de første hestevogne.

The 14 Olsen Gang movies are/were very popular in East Germany, Hungary and Poland. I am hungarian and really love these movies because they have great humor and the hungarian dub is also good
