I'm thinking about converting my Sun ez 3 trike to electric, can you tell me the kit you used for the conversion and where to buy it, for my 16 inch wheel.

While you have the chain off check the rear silver cog is parallel with the axle and adjust to suit withe the 2 tensioners.

Can you explain how the motor performs when peddling? If there is no peddle assist, does that mean you must turn the throttle at all times to go forward with motor assistance? Even when peddling?

Does the battery have to be on the bike to charge it? Or can you still charge the battery off the bike like inside the house/apartment?

This was very helpful! Thank you. I had an extra battery and exchange them out because my bike has no power. When I first got the bike I was able to keep up with my grandkids who are only 5 and 8 years old on their hoverboards. Then my trike wasn't used for a few months and when I tried it again when I was home for Christmas it would not even pull up the hill as fast as I can walk and I'm 70 years old and very slow! Then I was gone for 2 months and now I'm back and having the same problem. So I just changed out the batteries and gave it a try and it is the same problem. With the pedal assist all the way on 5 it will still only go 3 1/2 Mi an hour . I bought this truck to be able to go out with my grandkids when they are on their electric scooters or hoverboards and enjoy going around their neighborhood. So I need some help here because I cannot keep up with them at all. I know it is not either of the two batteries they show to fully charged and I have tried both of them. Thanks so much my truck has not been used very much at all

Well, I'm so glad I watch this! I just found out there is a place to plug in a headlight with the USB after I have my Liberty trike for a few weeks I will decide if I need a headlight and which ones you get. Thanks for not adding the extra expense for not a good reason

I'm hoping that the comments about pedal-assist means that I can pedal anytime on my Liberty tribe that I feel like it, even if the motor is helping me. My bike is being delivered next week and I am excited to try it

I couldn't tell what he did with the handlebar. I'm getting my new Liberty drugs delivered this week San Diego and then I will be taking it on a Southwest flight to Las Vegas as a Mobility vehicle. So I'm very interested in all this for practical reasons

The manual for the Eco-Tad states the tie-rod end should be secured in the other hole, closest to the wheel.

"Torque Assist" pedaling is actually important to this handicapped senior! Totally agree on delta trikes, which I ride only now. Tadpoles being less tippy is simply not that relevant. NEVER see anyone riding aggressively that would require a tadpole. Scenery viewing, nature watching, exercising is how 97++% of trike riders actually ride! Delta planform easiest to get on/off, even to/from a wheelchair. Having a trike seat at wheelchair seat height is worthwhile! Never outgrow a delta trike. Grow oldest on a delta trike. Hello! I am 84, retired, and live in Cutler Bay, Florida. In the last 16 months get around in a Liberty Trike. I haven't seen anymore Liber.ty Trikes around here, but every time I park my Trike at Publix or at my Pharmacy, people congratulate me and ask for details. I hope my neighbors are seeing this video and get their own trike so that we can start a trying club.
