While I do my own valid worrying about the movie trilogy. But some of these we really don't know the facts.There will be info on Dec 22 about the trilogy. The trilogy will not be 70 chapters it will at most 45 chapters with anime only context. The final battle arc is split into two arcs. The infinity castle arc what will be this trilogy and the sunrise countdown arc which is the last arc will be is own thing. Sony will take care of the handling of the movies. I don't know if that means we don't have to wait as long. Anime movies tend to have a higher budget to it then tv. The most expensive Tv ever made was 58 to 60 million dollars. But the most expensive movie ever created was between 447 to 460 million dollars.

I think it's a fine ending, but I don't think I'm super happy with it. I don't like how they handled the league the most. I don't even think them all being the greatest hero is bad. It's just kind of funny to start with "this is how i became the worlds greatest, to then at the end say "JK we are ALL the greatest." It's a catch 22. If you start the series with "we became the greatest" it lessens the importance of the quirkless boy that we are supposed to root for,and If you end with "I became the greatest", you aren't giving respect to his classmates., who all contributed.

Its minor but sometimes the small things irk people enough to lessen a work I agree everyone being the greatest fits the direction my hero went, always putting emphasis on the collective, but I still standby what I said. For almost every season to start with "this is how i became the worlds greatest hero" that ending softened the impact of that statement. Now i wouldn't go as far as say that's a major problem, just a minor gripe. I think the ending has way bigger problems, but I can only be that nitpicky about it because I love what horikoshi made

@@Gatekid3 actually thats the main cause of the ending. The fact he changed his mind on the message halfway. Its partially caused the sacrifice of the quirk singularity theory for this. But tbh i could see them both work together.

@@uwayn9829 I know the strongest hero bit changed, I saw that quote from him, but I dont get what you mean by that last bit. I don't think anything about the ending dismissed the Quirk Singularity Doomsday theory, It just wasn't addressed. So now, even though society has changed, in a few generations Quirks are going to end society anyway, because they only really showed us stuff proving the theory right. It's not important to the main story, but it was an interesting bit so it sucks a bit that it wasn't even acknowledged as a future thing they would have to face when time goes on.

You know what my biggest complaint about the FInal War arc was? The entire AFO-rewinding fight with him vs All might or Bakuogu.... I was WAITING for that pop off Mineta threw at his leg to have a pay off. Like.. that was such a "Chekhov's gun" that never got fired. It didn't need to be anythign big, just ONE moment where he was about to land a hit on one of the characters: and suddenly something trips him slightly and throws him off: and sure enough we see that purple ball snagged on something and for a split moment made him miss, giving his opponent that second chance. OR better yet, he's in toddler stage, he blood-curdles Bakugou (he stole blood curdle but never used it??? ALSO a Checkov's gun), and suddenly finds his foot's stuck to the ground by the pop off. He can't risk slicing his limb off as he's rewinding too fast as it is, so he tries to laser/slice or do ANTYING to the pop off, but the damn thing's indestructable. Finally in a rage he slashes his limb stuck to it, and is now in baby form

@@ShogunZorra WELL except a bit part of the final is AFO understimating or dismissing the less "obviously" OP powers. And I thought it'd be nice to show pop offs being so strong in their restrtainment even AFO couldn't just blast them off. haha irritatingly stubborn, like Mineta. BUT also.... ESPECIALLY with the final chapter revolving around the Junior high kid, it was important for Mineta to have a POWER moment in the ifnal arc: not just a BRAVE moment which he defenitely had...but that was int he context of him having a useless power but STILL being brave. We needed to see it really gum things up for AFO at some point... ONE thing the anime COULD easily add in...

The ending I liked... EXCEPT that it went by too fast. We spent over 400 chapters getting attached to these characters, and I feel trying to cram in that one chapter what, I think should've been about 5-10 would've given them a nice winding down and some nice 'full circles" for the characters. I understand Horikoshi was running on fumes: I wish he'd gotten some of his assitance to do some of the inbetween arcs so it could do justice to the side characters an stories before pretty much ending on the same note. If I had one major criticism of the show is that it went the popularity poll to dictate focus just sliiightly more then it should have; I get Deku and Bakugou are the most important characters, and Shoto got popular, and Uraraka too, BUT you'll notice Shoji made it to the top ten, and then got a bit more int he epilogue. AND this is BECAUSE Hori gave him his dues in the final war arc. It wasn't' just a cool fight scene that also was pertinent to the MHA world in the heteromorph outrage... BUT they also gave him a cute moment with the class... and that I think is what there wasnt' enough of in the final war arc. That balance of the cute everyday stuff to make us more attached to the serious action scenes. I know not EVERY student could have, but i feel there were some loose ends, character wise, that could've gotten a bit more time if they'd, say, trimmed some of the Bakugou/SHoto stuff by just one or two panels or pages... OR really jsut made sure everyone got a "drawing" in the final fight... So overall I think Horikoshi nailed the ending and the overall story arc in it's important beats, I just wish he could have perhaps delegated a few chapters here and there to assitants so he could give all the character's their dues w/o having to burn himself out. And i only say this becuase he clearly DID love this series and characters, as did we all, and hence why the rush to the finish made me a little sad

I can clearly see where you coming from, if we had few more chapter after the final fight about the character who didn’t get a lot of spot light would have been very nice. Potentially see different perspective and interaction of the fight impacted them like Uraraka. Really hope that we potentially get more stuff in the anime, as they can always expand what Hirokoshi couldn’t fit in the final chapter.

I was very dissapointed in the S5 bonus they did with the girl's mission: as it's a bit patronizing to spend half of it on tea parties and beach parties... they should've been kickin' ass and sweating the whole time like the "big 3". AND we could've gotten more with the other classes. What I WOULD like is one more tournament (a shorter version) of them in their 2nd year. Where a recoverred Bakuogu once again has a rematch with Uraraka, BUT now that she can affect htings from a distance she can make himn lose all control over his explosions and show a full circle there: PLUS show Bakugou taking a loss much better. BETTER YET, all the big 3 lose in their first rounds, and kinda feel fine with it, as it's not as important anymore. OR, (SPOILERS) instead of Deku just telling the new kid he can be a hero, invite him to watch a guest demonstration class with his students, where Mineta is the guest speaker, and challenges all the students to a fight, and one-shots them like Lemilllion did to Class 1A. So the kid could SEE someone with a Quirk similar to his making it strong....

@elephantmarch That would be interesting, but I unfortunately don’t think they will do a mini arc in second year. But having Deku showcase heroes like Mineta whose quirk isn’t considered *strong* to his student would show regardless of what quirk they have they can still become heroes. Which is all about how they utilise their quirk like Lemillion. It depends on how the anime will handle the ending, will they make it 100% exact or add more thing to see how the characters slowly become the heroes that they want to be. Just hoping they make it beautiful

@@ShogunZorra I just wish they'd given Uraraka a chance to show off her Quirk to Bakugou somehow, since now honestly I think she's at the top of the class: as her biggest weakness before was range. ALSO... anyone else realize that Mina Ashido's Quirk would be Todoroki's perfect achilles heels? She can be fire AND freeze proof! She'd be to Todoroki what Hagakure was to Tokoyami. I wish they'd ALSO give that moment to her... Two big things I would've added to the manga: sneak in more stealth/recon moments infurred to O/S with Hagakure, which would not only show her actually making USE of her invisibilty, rather then relying on the light bending for any cool moments, BUT that would subtly add weight to the red herring role as people would wonder "geez, you're letting a student wander into enemy territory" and we'd be wonderring "WAIT maybe she's a double agent...". ALSO it annoyed me she wore her uniform in the A vs Lemillion fight... it'd add to that "sneaky" feel if she was actually the one who DID land a hit on him and technically one...as her QUirk's similar to Mirio's. PLUS give her af ew last minute wins in big contests with cheap neck-chops that kind anti-climax big fights between the big 3. This would ALSO add to the idea she's a "sneaky" character w/o taking away from the power of the rest of them, while still making her strong in a specific way... ALSO, toga yanks Deku into the warp with her syringe chord, why did she turn INTO him and make use of her crush by being a chaotic version of him. THEN Urarka and Tsu could REALLY show how strong AND smart they'd gotten by sending her flying AS Deku, using her use of OFA against her. PLUS I found the fact Deku was clearly puling punches on her b/c she was a girl a bit patronising, and THAT would've given him more risk in fighting her...

the way I see it? I don't hate the manga ending one bit, though now for me it will raise an interesting question about the anime adaptation, will studio bones translate the ending directly or will they take creative liberties and make the finale have that much more of an impact.

Yall acting like we wouldnt have to wait at all if it were to be released in season form. Lets see... we might have to wait an extra year or two? fine by me, the budget for movies is always higher and therefore the animation will be EVEN BETTER, isnt that a spectacle that we all want to see? i mean sure with a tv series we might match or barely exceed entertainment district and fate heavens feel, but with movies? These movies will have full stop the best animation ever produced by a mile, i think people should be willing to wait.

Of course, the movie will have probably have one of the best animation ever, but it all depends how they will handle all that. I just think with an anime season it would still be able to produce crazy animation without the extra wait. It all depends how long we need to wait for the movie (fate trilogy took 3), season 2 came 2022, season 3 2023, season 4 2024, if it was anime season we would most likely only needed 1 year or 2 years for everything to be animated. With an anime season every fan would be able to experience the final arc at the same time, whereas a movie it would be different unless they do it similar to Black Clover. I just hope they prove me completely wrong on how they are going approach the movie trilogy. Just hoping for the best

S2E17 and S4E8 both had better animation than the Mugen Train film. Anyway, I think the biggest problem people have is that the trilogy will have numerous pauses and wait times with years to wait. Whereas a Season would've covered the entire Infinity Castle in one sitting.

@@SolidLoach If they released the three films relatively close to each other, than I can see it possibly working. A few months apart, but doubt it. Not to mention that the trilogy is more than likely not the end of Demon Slayer, as Sunrise Countdown Arc is too big to cram into a single film.

I don't understand the point about waiting longer because I don't think we would have to wait 3 years for the movies but only one year for the whole season if both have the same content. In that case the season would lose a lot of quality and that would be even worse than the movies in my opinion.

I understand your view, but Movie and Anime episodes have different approaches when creating them. I feel like with a movie they would need to cramp way much more because they have limited run time, compared to anime episodes. 3 Movies with run time of 2h each (6h in total) would almost be the equivalent of 18 ep which would cover only potential 54 chapters. I personally think with an anime series they would be able to add extra and not cut out stuff from the manga, because they wouldn’t be limited by the movie run time.

It depends on how much they're adapting. If they're only adapting Infinity Castle, content amount is fine. If they plan on adapting Sunrise Countdown as well, then that's where we'll be losing content in the films, unless they're 3+ hours long.

1:35 - It’s actually 1 episode higher than Konosuba S1 and S2 (the OVAs were after their original airings.) Also, Megumin was always crazy since S1 (she blackmailed Kazuma when he wouldn’t accept her into the Party in the first episode and assaulted Yun Yun in the OVA and pretended she didn’t know her.) KonoBakuen is like a transitional Season, since S3 is a bit more serious and changes things up from now on.

woah, your the first person i've noticed who brought up chainsaw man being snubbed for director. totally deserved it imo, but im not complaining cuz jjk was pretty fire. have you seen vinland saga tho? i feel like between mob and thorfinn, thorfinn should've won best main character. and i LOVE mob psycho. season 2 is a little slow, and its a lot of talking in the first 12 episodes, but the pay off in the final couple of episodes is amazing

the video game Leo's mom was playing is actually Dark Cloud for the ps2, the games were basically Sony's intended answer to Zelda, really fun duology, even though the first one had a REALLY annoying weapons health mechanic, especially since the weapons level up and transform into better weapons, so when they break, you have to find a replacement weapon in the dungeons or shops, and start completely from scratch. Dark Cloud 2 was better, though. not saying DC1 was bad or anything. it's just that DC2 (also known as Dark Chronicle) improved on so many of the flaws of DC1. Sorry, kinda rambling, at this point, lol.
