EXPLAIN THE PART WHERE THE MACHINE DOESN'T WORK RIGHT UNLESS YOU BUY YOUR BRAND FILTERS. IT'S A MONOPOLY AIR SCRUBBER. People, If you find the RFID sticker in the legend brand filters, you can stick it to the side where the control panel is and use aftermarket filters

The HEPA 700 unit has been specifically tested and validated to meet HEPA system standards when used with Dri-Eaz original equipment manufacturer (OEM) filters. Using non-OEM filters may compromise the unit's performance and efficiency, as these filters may not meet the required specifications for a HEPA system. To ensure optimal performance and compliance with HEPA system standards, it is recommended to use only Dri-Eaz OEM filters with the HEPA 700 unit.
@Tohirjayh4g
@Tohirjayh4g 6 күн бұрын
@@LegendBrands other aftermarket filters that meet the same standards and HEPA rating still can't be used due to the RFID sticker in OEM filters . using non OEM doesn't compromise performance at all and therefore is untrue. no evidence supports your statement that it compromises performance if you use aftermarket filters with the same standards

Late question: whats a good PSI to ensure not soaking through rug to the floor? Thanks.
@LegendBrands
@LegendBrands 12 күн бұрын
We wouldn't recommend anything above 250 PSI. But check the density of the pile, for thinner piles it would be best to be less than that.
@LegendBrands
@LegendBrands 12 күн бұрын
An easier rule of thumb is synthetic fibers are usually fine at 250 PSI, for wool we would recommend a max of 200 PSI. But, again, check pile density and subtract from there if necessary.

@LegendBrands

Low moisture bonnet cleaning is best used for light maintenance on carpets, but for deep cleaning of rugs, you'll want to use a different method like a truck mount system or a portable.

I am surprised with the problem fibers in newer low cost rugs, and the shortcut structural issues of new hand-loomed rugs, that you are advising techs to do this work in the home rather than taking them to a facility to give them a better cleaning with fewer problems to handle. Viscose blends, following these steps, will lead to unhappy results. So will any of the new 100% dyed jute rugs.
@LegendBrands
@LegendBrands Ай бұрын
It is important to note that we are showing the best cleaning practices for the majority of rugs found in homes, but some rugs require more specialized cleaning. Note in the video we do recommend that more complex rugs be cleaned by a specialist & to be honest with the customer about the level of results that on-site rug cleaning will produce. But this is still a valuable add-on service that most carpet cleaning companies are in a position to offer with the equipment they already own.

I couldn't agree more. Just helped someone today that did a rug on location. The rug is easily worth over 10,000! All will be fine but we need to push more and more why not to do rugs on location. BTW your carpet cleaning insurance (90% of the time) doesn't cover you if you damage a rug. As far as putting a great video together....well you guys did that. I really like the video and how it was done. Just need to step up that rug education the right way.
@cameronmayville5883
@cameronmayville5883 Ай бұрын
@@LegendBrands No offense and I'm glad you are pushing forward with education. I think it's very important. But this is typically what happens when carpet cleaners try to teach rug cleaning. It's not intentional that they mislead cleaners. It's just that they don't know. The best practice for the majority of rugs is not what you just showed. On site or off site. There is so much more. I could go on and on and I know that by commenting we will come off as the jerk or a rug snob. This is not my intention. The only way we make things better is by speaking up and having that debate. Again I think the people in the video were awesome. The video was entertaining and very well done. But it was taught by someone who does not do rugs everyday. This is very obvious. Also explaining the expectations to the client normally fall way short. How, can you explain something you truly don't know yet? Also it should be mentioned when a carpet cleaner does damage to a 10,000 rug that they thought was a $500 rug, their insurance will not cover it!!! Cleaners need to know this!!! This needs to have a part 2, 3, 4, 5 and so on. Then you could call it a master class. Cleaners should know better, that carpet cleaning is NOT rug cleaning. If you damage a rug YOU are responsible. I hope you continue to push forward but with better and more info.
@textilepro4608
@textilepro4608 Ай бұрын
@@LegendBrands I respectfully disagree that this represents best practices. If they are cleaning polypropylene Home Depot and Lowes rugs - yes. Though the title should be a "masterclass" for synthetic solution-dyed area rugs.

The Unleashed formulation may have a higher price per gallon than other urine treatment products on the market, but when you factor in that those solutions require the use of multiple products, more time, multiple applications, and quite often lead to call backs to redo the job, the overall cost of using Unleashed is far less. 1000s of cleaners exclusively use Unleashed, not based on price - but because they want to offer the best service to their customers, leading to higher profits to their cleaning business in the long term.

I have an ‘S’ type fabric on my sofa. My wet dog got on it leaving a water ring. Would the dry foam help to remove it ? If not what should I use?
@LegendBrands
@LegendBrands 4 ай бұрын
Using the information you have given, we are assuming we have a natural fiber involved, thus the water ring or cellulosic browning. Dry foam can assist in alleviating the water stain but in many cases a professional cleaner will need to apply an oxidizer to the stained area once the fabric is dry. Many cleaners use Prochem Urine Recuse as a browning corrector. Don't let the name throw you off, this product is widely used as a urine stain removal product. The main issue with applying an oxidizer like Urine Rescue is you cannot spot treat. If you treat a spot, you have to treat the entire piece as many natural fibers will brighten in color once an oxidizer has been applied. If you do not treat the entire piece, the area will look different than the surrounding field color of the fabric. The beauty of a product like Prochem Urine Rescue is it is self neutralizing, it does not leave any bleaching agents behind. If you are a homeowner without years of experience, this is a process better left the the professional and we highly recommend you contact one.
