When this was uploaded: George W. Bush was president, There was no such thing as an I-Phone, Hurricane Katrina did not happen yet. The emo era was at its peak with emo & nu-metal bands like: ‘My Chemical Romance,’ ‘Panic! At The Disco’ & Fall Out Boy,’ ‘Evanescence,’ & ‘LINKIN PARK.’ MySpace was the number one social media platform. So many legends such as Michael Jackson, Steve Irwin, Kobe Bryant, Carrie Fisher, Gene Wilder, Fred Willard, Robin Williams, Gilbert Gottifried, Chadwick Boseman, Stephen Hillenburg, Paul Walker, Chester Bennington, Dolores O’Rioran, Whitney Houston, Taylor Hawkins, Chris Cornell, Nate Doog, Biz Markie, were all still alive and well. The Iraq War was going on The world was recovering from 9/11 KZbin was launched and simple low quality videos like these and people having fun were filled on the website, Guitar Hero 1 came out. The world wasn’t so close minded as it is now. Memes were not relevant School Shootings did not happen one after another. Etc….. Wow! Has time changed.

R-Kelly was trapped in the closet, Pimp My Ride was the epitome of cool, 50 Cent was the biggest rapper, Rihanna was only known for “Pon De Replay” Chris Brown was only known for Run It , MTV2 had Andy Milonakis, Wildboys, and Wonder Showzen, Adult Swim had stuff like “Tom Goes To The Mayor” and “S-Cry-Ed”, you asked “Who?” And people responded with “MIKE JONES!!” People got their memes from YTMND, Google Video was a separate site from KZbin, Netflix was DVD only, it was still very common to see a silver cased CRT flat tube TV. and I was 15 and looked forward to the future. I miss the 2000s…

15 years...damn. I remember the first time I saw this amv and I loved the song without knowing the anime or song. Shortly after, my friend and I started hearing it on a certain radio station and we always hoped it would come on everytime we turned on the radio. A wonderful song for a beautiful anime and gorgeous amv.
