What are the benefits of this new system you are working with?
@MakersLaneАй бұрын
One benefit is it doubles horse power. We are working on verifying this, but the data it pretty conclusive. It is also 60% more efficient. Again working on getting the numbers.
@ColtenBoots2 ай бұрын
False about natural gas being more efficient. In one Cubic foot of Natural Gas is 1,030 Btus. One cubic foot of propane has 2,516 Btus. Propane is definitely more efficient as well as cleaner burning and more versatile. Just want you all to know that God Bless!!

Besides being dirty, I'm pretty sure that first piece you were welding was galvanized by the teletale white smoke and residue. It is never easy to make a good looking weld on that stuff. I welded my entire life as body repair heavy collision tech, about 20 years of it with a Lincoln SP-125 Plus I bought in the 90's. It never ever let me down. Never used a flux-core welder but looks like they are pretty good for not having to use gas. I remember them getting a bad rap when they first came out.

Wow looks great. I just found your video and am gonna do the same... with slight adjustments. I see you build this 3 years ago. Any pointers as in "what you should have done" now that its been through a few seasons? I'd love to see an update. Thank you for the nice video.

Apparently you haven't considered the heat of the grill affecting the wooden frame around it. The grill will get very hot.

Nice work. But how come you didn't protect the wood framing with a polyurethane? I have a 150" and a 183" bridge and I am having issues with rotting wood now. I have to redo them after 6 years. However I am trying to do this on the cheap.
