Another thing id like to point out, in this video, you are getting a cross between replay footage on flat screen and vr footage( replay is a bit clearer then the first person vr footage) might be giving you a false sence of overall quality. For me though, it was night and day changing the windows for mixed reality settings, windows mixed reality settings, and also getting the open composite, open xr companion app. As the way of laoding the game and bypassing steamvr all together. Hope this helps, the settings for post prosessing msaa, do nothing I found out later on, only if you use fxaa, and in my opinion fxaa should never be used in vr, even if intercepted. Thanks

THANK YOU - Assetto Corso no longer looks like arse on a Pimax. Anti-aliasing settings really cleaned up the shimmering, and 90 FPS upscale is so much more playable.

Hello, i am wondering, cant you just yeet the wheel and button's off the base and then make a adapter for a normal racing wheel? or is there like a board inside the wheel itself that makes it all function? i wanna replace me original wheel so bad

There is a board inside the wheel center, but yes, you could do that. I did that here basically, I just added the button because I have a sunken in wheel with room, and the back of the original wheel actually fits into the horn of the after market wheel. You will just lose all those buttons. But if you have a large button box, you would be fine for replacing the buttons. You do lose the paddle shifters as well ( they are trash on these anyways). To replace paddle shifts, I used my th8a h shifter like a manual slap shift for cars, 3rd and 4th gear as upshift and downshift, for the cars that need it, you just have to recenter it on it each shift, becomes pretty natural fast, and feels more kinetic. Sorry, but this has to be placebo, because anti aliasing PP under Graphic Adjustments doesn't do anything in VR. Best way to go about this is to set MSAA in AC video settings; and turn on MFAA in Nvidia Control Panel.

I did this with my t150 and just screwed a g29 wheel onto it. Lost the dpad and 4 other buttons but kept the paddle shifters and it actually looks really good

OK, this is really weird... I've had OpenComposite working brilliantly on both Assetto Corsa and AMS2 for a while now, but just in the last couple of months they both stopped being able to run OpenComposite. Any idea what may have changed?

On the 3090 it was still hard to get the results I wanted, 90 fps, so I upgraded to the 4090. But open xr companion app is super good for this exact situation. Make sure the game is running in OpenXR native not via SteamVR, if SteamVR comes up, it's being managed via SteamVR. In my opinion SteamVR poorly manages OpenXR. If you are running a Reverb g 2 like me, i have an assetto corsa video that helps this game, with some of the settings in it. The exact same way. Windows mixed reality settings help a lot too. in Dirt rally 2.0, make sure you turn off the in game anisotropic filtering, Then turn it on max in nvidia control panel for that specific game. In that same menu, change texture rendering to high performance, turn low latency mode to full. Once you have OpenXR companion app installed make sure you use nsr { the nvidia upscaler option) foveated rendering to wide performance. Then for a sharper image go to override resolution and turn it up. hope that helps, Thanks for watching

Wow. Blew them way in the first and third stage. I think the elements you're missing are that in real life the drivers can feel how much grip they have, you can only react to the visual and audio cues. Also, they practice A LOT with the vehicles so that they know them inside and out. They also work with a tighter safety margin than you do. Overall you are doing quite well with the car. Just try an avoid any big crashes. Also, how many markers are you going to knock down? 😜

Okay. You started with some horrible miss shifts, badly timed responses to your co-driver and ended with driving in the dark. What the hell?! Also, they line the roads on the German stage with concrete since that stage takes place on a tank training range. Got to give you respect for completing that stage with no lights. Granted you were first one into the stage, hence all the green sectors.

hey man great vid , im doing vr in assetto with the crystal looks good runs great with my 4090 7900x3d but everytime theres a turn on the track or looking to my side it gets like a micro stutter but driving straight its smooth i cant figure it out and has ruined my vr experience in asssetto corsa , do you get any of that

it's a very specific video that I think 99.9% of the people who have watched it, would easily have realize... if the video is labelled "Assetto Corsa VR Anti-Aliasing fix guide for HP Reverb G2" a very specific name. Most of those people compelled to watch it, would.. and I am assuming using common sense. Already be familiar with Assetto VR start up !. If the video was labeled "a complete guide for self entitled ignorant morons on how to run assetto corsa in VR for the first time" then id understand your argument. You know what I can't believe ? what possessed you to publicly try to critique my video when you can't even read the f**ing title, or comprehends whats it implies on it's own.
