Replaced a DC isolator today on a string of solar panels. The switch was well burnt up.aside from that I noticed on one panel closest to the switch a single cell on a panel was heavily brown discolored and it was much hotter to the touch. Should I just leave the panel alone or definitely remove it as the cell will be just sinking all the power. No shadowing. If I'm reading 400v for the string then am I right in assuming the house load will be using most of the power compared to that bad cell ?

What will be the voltage and current amount of half cell compared to full cell

but for which temperatures are full cells problematic? I can imaging countries with constant 35-40 degrees heat, but on lets say UK would that be a problem?

Ver interesting. So it’s really about strong close shadows vs weaker further shadows. Because you start under a tree. I wonder how powerful the fountain would be in direct sunlight.

This is all bull crap. The panels are already in the shade!! Plus at one stage on the so called cheap panel the water started pumping before the sheet of steel was removed.
