Can't go wrong with 1.5 to 3mm. I don't know why platinum isn't more popular. It's the best white metal imo. It doesn't tarnish like sterling silver and it doesn't need rhodium plating like white gold.

@@Leo-zf7ne if you measure them without compressing the links they measure true to size. When using the millimeter gauge you have to try not to compress the links because then you will get all types of measurements. But most importantly when worn, it is true to size.

@@lessnot2800 and to clarify, Our 14k chains contain 58.3% pure gold Our 18k chains contain 75% pure gold Our 22k chains contain 91.7% pure gold But SOME chain on top of this base have an additional plating serves as a color enhancement and protective layering. Italy has perfected this plating method they use Hamilton plating

Everyone seems to think all prism cut rope chains are Rhodium plated. Some are both yellow and white gold I got one in 14k
