yeah i see what you mean now actually. i dont think i really looked at 11/9 (2) as you can see i did consider stepping up from 24/22 initially to try and escape with a 6 but figured in that situation he's probaby a good favourite to make the 3 point next roll ? but yes after 11/9 (2) 24/22 and 8/6 things do look a lot better for me. and holding the midpoint should work in my favour if he does manage to roll a 4. :)

I’ve only watched the first 18 mins : 4:18 - Roll 22 priorities - 1, escaping your back checker so need to step up , 2 , block escape of Keith’s 2 checkers . Play should be 24/22 , 11/9 (2) & 8/6 giving cover for your 2 point . 9:50 you cubed - excellent decision ( make Keith pay to see your next roll) 13:40 - you dropped the cube far too quickly . You have at least 25% winning chances , very little chance of being gammoned & Keith has a lot of work to do getting his checkers safely home against your Golden Point anchor. The drop is a blunder . 17:26 roll 42 - you missed making a 6 point prime 13/9 , 11/9 which increased your gammon chances. You’re not playing Blitz Chess 😂 , slow down , look at the whole board & decide on your game plan for the given position & dice roll .

At 9:13 you roll 66 , best move is 21/9 (2), your move is ok , however you then have to try and clear the 13 & 15 points which may give you problems. Bringing both back checkers all the way round is much cleaner .That’s it I promise not to make anymore comments 😊

Hi , me again …😂 at 3:48 you roll 4,5…the best play is 8/3* 7/3 , you make a point and put a checker on the bar. Running a back checker is the wrong idea as Dave has 9 checkers on the zone bearing down on the blot you’ve left in his home board. No doubt Mr XG will put you in detention 😂

At 13:50 you roll 53 . Your game plan is to confine blacks back checker so 13/8 , 11/8 is the move . The race is close & your opponent now holds the cube , if he escapes that back checker he could have a strong recube 😊

definately not @gammongt these insights are really helpful, infact i do remember that 61 and i remember playing it far far too quickly, as soon as i hit my clock i realised the mistake. there were times throughout the day when i'm verbally telling myself to slow down and think about my plays.

Just say if you would rather I keep my gob shut. 😂

At 12:15 you rolled 21 and still chose not to hit & make your 5 point which is a far stronger play than the pick & pass .

Carl , at 11:25 you rolled 61 , you may have played a little too quickly as you could make your 5 point & put blacks blot on the bar .

At 5:15 you roll 6,2 but don’t move any checkers ? You pass the roll straight back to Don .
