@HabeasJ I was using bottom bouncers with a slow death rig And a crawler. May and June are prime time for catching them on Lake Pend Oreille in shallow during the pre and post spawn.

@@andrewdumars9401 I got hooked on a really nice pike (I thought it was a snag at first) today outside Oden Bay but of course he got off at the boat. Also got a handful more bass and a couple perch, all on crawler harnesses. The telemetry from IDFG shows the two northern bays and the mouth of the Clark Fork are packed around this time. Sounds like I'm on the right track and I'll try a slow death next time. Thanks
