I hardly look at team playbooks for 06, just custom playbooks since you can create what you want in minutes. And there is no best playbook, just what scheme you want to run at that time.

@tadhugo3202 yes, that would have been a disaster. Thankfully the only time that happens is when I accidently close the emulator while I'm saving the dynasty file. Keeping a backup file helps too.

@UnderPressure21 I used the Next textures for the longest time but realized they don't fit with the vanilla game well, they're meant for the mod itself. Plus, I wasn't a fan of all the hard colors many teams had on their unis and such. Many of the originals loom better, just my opinion though. I used their mod a couple of times but both dynasties crashed on me which is death to a content creator lol. So with all of that, it's just easier for me as a creator to just stick with the vanilla game which I'm happy with.

@UnderPressure21 my updated playbooks makes the CPU tougher for the simple fact I made bad plays better so less chance of them picking a bad play. That's one of the reasons for updating plays. I wouldn't have wasted time updating them if I thought they'd hurt the game.

I doubt it. Gameplay is too glitchy and unsmooth like most new EA games. Dynasty feels lifeless too. There's just not enough there for me to think I can enjoy and stick with a long series like that. Besides, I'm busy enough with 25 playbook videos and my current 06 dynasty.

i did the same a couple days ago. michigan's offense is a ton of fun. If you like ball control, controlling the clock type stuff, this is the playbook to go with. Lot of good pre snap motions, mesh concepts, etc. And just enough downfield routes to keep defenses honest.

Great video! I love the run abd shoot. A few notes: 1. Not every run and pass is logged under the concept menu. 2. Despite the play counts, the core run game would be draw, trap, hb base, inside zone, with stuff like off tackle, speed option, etc being auxiliary runs used mostly situationally. 3. The option routes do not vary based on awareness. If they arent jammed, they run their routes based on if certain coverage assignments are on the field. 4. Slide, go, read, etc have been phased out abd replaced in the modern shoot, and we're rarely ran since the 90s, when they moved to the gun. 5. Rolovich based out of the Pistol.

I know not every play is covered in the concept menu, epseically play actions and screens which I mention in all of the videos. I have no other way of covering a playbook from a macro level unless by formation which people may get bored with. I try to focus on concept because it gives you a good idea of what the playbook is all about. I also don't want to make these videos too long either so if you have any suggestions to make these videos matter more, let me know.

At 51:47 why are they snapping the ball with the play clock at 10 seconds? You run it down to 1 - then they pass at 5 seconds? They should have ran the ball again. They punted at 1:07… should have been - 20-30 seconds for you to have. Horrible clock management.

On your screens to the outside wideouts (X or Z) you're throwing it too early for the blocks to set up. If you wait a half second to a second longer the play should be a bit more consistent for you vs that zone. Otherwise solid game as always.

@Camba3960 nah, I've had way top much success with them throwing it my way. Just sometimes the QB makes a bad throw or the WR just gets stuck on the route, it happens.

Wow Al what a win still gotta work on your field goal kicking 😂 but at least you made the very important one to win the game your kicker looks like he has a good leg and can kick some long field goals but great win and can’t come the next one and yes that was a good thumbnail the kicker!! Not yet on updated 06 rosters, still waiting on Antdroid from the NEXT crew to make them before I can convert them to memory cards. I had to take down the jump files because recruiting points were way low once you created a new coach and picked a team.

So glad you made this, been using this playbook with a lot of success, I want to create a custom and combine it with unlv duo sets and split back sets. What other formation would you put in and or take out to utilize it optimally

That just depends on what you consider "optimized". Regardless of scheme, I suggest picking your favorite concepts and find formations that have those with enough perosnnel variation unless you think you can get by without much much one back formations (12, 11, 10 personnel).

EA is apparently changing formation and play names with every patch/update. One of the fun parts of this playbook was the opriginal Air Raid verbiage. I made this video prior to them removing names like "Green" and "Early". EA needs to stop taking the life out of this game.

Someone recently mentioned the same thing. Apparently EA has been changing names of some formations and plays with every update. I made this video prior to the change. This is goofy especially for this playbook as that was a fun part of it, to keep with the real Air Raid verbiage. I wish they'd quit taking the life out of the game.

@nostalgiaman6816 there really isn't anything you can do. Sometimes they'll vat it down, other times they'll try to pick if off. It's all random. Take them over if you want more pick I guess.

@@PlaybookGamer Really bizarre. I have tried counters in many different playbooks and the timing is always messed up and the RB automatically runs into the pulling lineman. But just used Ole Miss and that didn't happen. Don't know why but thanks!
