Do you think the Lauf fork is worth it or is the Seigla rigid just as good? I'm worried about there being no dampening when riding on pavement.

Thanks for watching, and commenting! I do recommend investing in a quality bike. You will have a better experience with it, and the added incentive of not letting an expensive bike sit unused. The Lauf is a great bike, but they designed it for racing/experience cyclists. You may want to consider a hard tail mountain bike. That’s kind of a do it all bike. You will be more comfortable, and it will more stable on gravel. Do some Google searches and good luck!

Thank you, great video. This is the kind of riding I like to do and I have been thinking of going to a one-bike for all quiver. The Lauf Seigla is my top candidate and your video helped to confirm this. Thank you again.

Nicely done. I tried this route last year when it was hot. Reddington Road is a fantastic route. I was not aware of the black hills mine road as I was going to go through San Manuel (water stop) and cut up through Webb Road. N. Mt Lemmon Control road is special. I did a lot of training from Oracle to the top in preparation for Leadville two years ago.

Great video. It's kinda strange that the black and red paint is the only one you don't have to pay a premium for like the other colors but I actually think it looks the best out of all of them. Beautiful looking bike.

@@stephenplays676 thanks for the reply. I reached out to Lauf and inquired about any future plans to equip a model with Eagle AXS and was told they didn’t have any plans for this option. Have you had another gravel bike or is this your first? I'm asking because I'm very close to buying a Seigla to replace my Niner gravel bike, but I'm a little concerned the Lauf is more like a mountain bike than a gravel bike even though it's marketed as a gravel race bike. My friends that have the True Grit model love them.

Hi, thanks for watching the video. I had a Felt XC cyclocross bike. The Lauf is definitely a fast gravel bike! The road feels smoother, and I feel more in control, so I'm more aggressive on curves and descents.
