You are going to have such a great trip!! Thank you for watching, I appreciate it. The terrace does get a bit busy, but if you show up 15-20 mins before the show you will probably be able to stand in a spot near the front with a good view. The best part about the hotel is the location, it's so easy to go from your room to DCA and back in no time at all. Those are all hard reservations to get, so good for you! If you want more tips, or have any specific questions, feel free to message me on Instagram and I'll always be glad to help out 😁 if you do plan to propose, having someone close by but nonchalant is nice so they could capture it on video or get pictures for you to enjoy later. Cast Members will also help you out with photography and such (for example, they may be able to take you somewhere more private or help keep people out of a specific area for a moment) if you get a chance to mention it to one of them without your significant other noticing!

My friend proposed to her fiance recently, and I told a CM photographer right after and he took them around for a cute and memorable photoshoot for a bit, it was really special.

Last year the parks were still fairly busy even with all the people at D23, and they got pretty packed in the evening when people left the convention to go to the parks

I almost fell getting off the stretching room elevator into the hallway one time, it is so dark it seems dangerous. It's still very dark, but the CM had a flashlight that he was shining on the floor to help exit there, I thanked him because I think there should ALWAYS be someone with a light there. The hallway to the Doom Buggies is a bit brighter as you get to the loading area, and it's easier to see once you're past the stretching room exit part.

I've heard that some of the lighting has been updated, but I didn't notice anything too obvious. The carriage out front is moved, but there aren't any major changes at all.

I'd expect for it to be busy! Oddly enough though, Saturdays haven't been too busy (Mondays have been super busy) and last Friday was a low crowd day, so there's always a chance it won't be too bad. I was there the weekend after 4th of July, and I thought it would be chaotic, but it was actually pretty calm. It's pretty hard to predict, so expect the worst, and hope for the best 🙂

The demand for Disney seems to be infinite these days, and I think Disney may just not care right now...they seem to be focused on making money without considering the guest experience sadly. It seems like it's always busy these days, so they can offer less for more money, and people will still show up, and they can still generate a huge profit. If you can reschedule to a different time of year, the weather will be much better any other time of year, and more rides will be open, but it still will likely be crowded. That's just my two cents, sorry that you even have to think about canceling. It is poor planning on Disney's part. The parks were very busy and crowded today, with some wait times being over 2 hours for certain rides.

@timothyd1496 Good question! There's isn't an advantage at Disneyland, unfortunately. WDW lets you book a few attractions before your visit, but here that option isn't available.

Thanks for subscribing! It is open for anyone, yes. The door is usually propped open but if it's closed, it will be unlocked and you do not need a room key to open it 😁 go into the hotel lobby elevators, go to the 5th floor, and go left down the hall, you'll see the patio on your right

@@yvonneskanes5201 This next week will be in the mid to low 80's, but it might be hotter again in 2 weeks. Make sure to drink TONS of water and take breaks in the A/C and shade, the heat is no joke. You can ask for ice water at any restaurant or quick service food location, and make sure to fill your water bottle often at refill stations 🙂

I heard that there is a new way to get into the ride. We have to join a Vertual Line. Not sure how involved it is.

@viviancutler3918 you can try at 7am and 12 noon for the virtual queue, you just need a Disneyland reservation for the 7am one, or you need to be in one of the parks at noon with a park hopper or a magic key

@@TikiRikAdventures I do have a reservation for Disneyland for Monday, and I am a Believe Magic Key Holder. How can reserve it when I'm not in the park....like at home at 7am? Because no one can be in the park at 7am....Right? How do I do it? I will be at the parks for 12pm. How do I do a virtual reservation? Thank You So Much!!!

@viviancutler3918 you do it on the app at 7am from home 😁 just try to be ready before 8am and hit the virtual queue right when the clock hits 7am, they'll run out immediately. Probably just search "haunted mansion" in the app before 7am and the button will pop up on the search
