Crappy luck on the tach! As a side note, when I worked on aircraft we would put peanut butter or grease in the sockets then push the nut into it, the peanut butter keeps the nut from falling out of the socket. Handy to know when you are working in tight spots or awkward angles.

Great job i highly recommend checking out a Product Called carb cheater from a youtuber named thunderhead289. It is a game changer for Carbureted vehicles. If you ever put a wideband 02 sensor on a carbureted Vehicle you'll notice the tune never is perfect because of everything barometric pressure and weather changes. This product has a auto tune where the carb uses a airbleed to ajust the AFR making it perfect at all times while driving. This Dramatically increases mpg, drivability no matter the temperature and barometric altitude changes. It also has some really cool features. I highly recommend watching his videos on his product.
