I enjoyed the two films and am looking forward to the third. The love you all have for the films comes out strong. I like that you can use public spaces to film adds a lot of believe to the story, the characters and the actors. I like Eli's character as Echo, it was strong from her first appearance on screen. I like strong female roles and she carried it well. I think it is an amazing compliment to you for creating the film and bringing it all together. This was a nice way to honour your work with the panel and large screen. Take care everyone!!

I completely agree about how the movie stretches out the numbers to its benefit EXCEPT for Defying Gravity. Because it’s such a crescendo of song and emotion, I felt like it needed to be a little bit more linear and connected. BUT my family who knew nothing of the musical before this movie liked that the last song wasn’t so “singy” lol I forget sometimes big musical numbers can be a bit jarring for people who aren’t massive fans of musicals in general - but yeah I believe breaking it up like that gives the viewer time to breathe. To let the emotion of the moment settle. I personally still would’ve liked it a little bit shorter

"at least it was written that way" best line, I never really *felt* the connection of Ruby and Doctor. That has been an issue over many seasons due the writing, but this year the actors had the skill but the story line delivered on the screen gave so few moments earlier companions had showing the in-between times. They skipped, what, 6 months in the timeline from the Xmas show to the start of disney S1? It asked a bit too much for audiences to suspend belief because there was so little to build on about the relationship dynamics. Prefer fewer grand SFX and more basic 101 story telling.

Returning villains would be Chinballz and Davies.

I think the dressing gown could well be a cheeky nod to Arthur Dent's in the eighties TV version of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It's very similar.
