Really nice design for Fall. I really like the colors you used. Is there a way to fix the area that goes outside the lines of the pumpkin once it dries? That would drive me nuts. I’m new to watercolors and unfortunately I’m a perfectionist.

I’m a perfectionist too but have learned to work with the sketchy look. If I go out of line once I make sure to do it again so it’s part of the design. Also, leaving white spaces helps bring depth and an “undone” or old look. It’s just a look I enjoy. Thanks for the visit. Have a great day!

Beautiful paper. Can you make a small gift box or gift pocket for giving lip balm or earrings?

This paper would be perfect for gift box or pocket because it is firmer than card stock. Use a bone folder to make the crisp and it would be beautiful! Thanks for the visit. Have a blessed day!

Hi. You can also make a swatch chart that fits in the pallete in the same order as the paints to keep track of the colors. If you prewet the paints by spraying water on paint or dropping some water on the paints and letting them activate a bit then you have brighter colours. I also have a Winsor and Newton cotman pallette with twelve colors which I really enjoy.

Thank you Nina, and thank you for subscribing. The watercolors I used on this are Masllutn from Amazon ($7.98) which have done a good job but I just received Windsor & Newton Cotman ($58) which I’ll be using from now on. The $7.98 watercolors have done me well though and it will be interesting to see the difference in the two. It was good to hear from you! Blessings.
