My Siciliian grandmother did this exact thing in a bowl, showed my mother who showed me how to do it - If you have that headache or illness you can't shake after a New or Full moon do this for proof, then do the prayer to Mother Mary to take it away while touching your or the affected one's forehead and it will be gone within an hour - you must truly believe. But after you do this - throw the water outside, preferably off of your yard. It works. I'm 55. Thank you for the vid. Brings back a lot of Italian memories for me of my family now passed. God bless.

I got all my info about the Malocchio of course from my favorite singer, Ronnie James Dio 🤘🤘. He said by showing the Malocchio you could protect yourself from it.

Thank you so much for this! My nonna was from Delianova Calabria and she used to do this when I was a kid. My mother passed away when I was only four and and my nonna raised me. She did this when an animal was injured badly or really sick with no real reason for ill health. I remember our dog got hit by a car and his injuries were quite bad, but after she did this, he was walking in two days. She also did this when a pig that we had was impaled by a bean stick branch and the wound was quite catastrophic and the pig got better. She did this for both people and animals and I only just remembered it the other day. Thank you again for the explanation. ❤❤❤

That’s awesome. My Nonna was also from Delianova. She did this for my wife when she kept falling ill and was suffering constant bad luck. Nonna was adamant that my wicked sister in law put the Malocchio on her. It took Nonna two times to get the curse off my wife. Brilliant. My Irish wife was very greatfull.

Sadly these rituals passed down are unknowingly witchcraft!! No where in the bible does it say to identify or expel curses in this way. My aunt used to do it as well. She also whispered “prayers” to ward off curse, which was not touched on in the video. People need to go back to the bible and go back to prayer... directly to God in the name of Jesus💛🕊🙏🏼✝️

Iʻm Portuguese and we do the exact same thing. We call this reading the oil. My grandmother, my great grandmother and two of my great aunts were all curandeiras and often removed what we called may olhado or mau olho. It is caused by jealously, either intentional or unintentional.

Hello, yes. I will explain it. When one has signs or symptoms of the evil eye, they do a test with a bowl of water and a tablespoon spoon of olive oil or any oil if you don't have olive, but Olive Oil works the best. Before the person or you of you do it yourself does the test they say a prayer and do the sign of the cross. Now you dip your finger into the Tablespoon of oil and drop the drippings into the water. You should do like three to five of these. If some of the oil droplets come together in one ball and not crooked but stay in one place after they have swirled in the water for ten seconds after being dropped that means you are not cursed with the evil eye. However, if they do come together and some make very weird sloppy shapes and don't stay in one place, you do have the evil eye curse callled Il Malacchio and need to get it off of you. Italians usually seek a priest or an religious enthusiast who gives you prayers and blessings and a cornicello charm to sway off evil curses and spirits. They come in silver or gold or just plastic ones and should be worn at all times.
