+theone itself correcting. The thing you are describing is Phantom Drive. Phantom Shot on the other hand was explained - ball disappears because of the way the ball is thrown, the way to counter it is to stand back a little bit so you can see the overview of Kuroko's form. The form makes the ball go up really fast and out of the point of view. I think I got it right, I am not sure as I read the manga quite long time ago but I believe that's how the shot worked.

(also i thing Kurokos shot IS NOT HIGH.... it is the OPPOSITE , it almost goes STRAIGHT, thats why a player near Kuroko has to take some distance to see the ball that goes straight) BUT the main point is... +theone itself It's correct that the Phantom Shot is explained like that: 1. Cause of the abnormal form he uses the pov of the opponent player is taken down on him so the straight flying ball disappears fast from the view of them. 2. He's using the presence of Kagami to get the opponents looks on kagami for a moment so their block get's more inaccurate. BUT it also can be done with every other player which has more presence like Kuroko because like you know misdirection also works with taking the views appart to other teammates like kagami.

Misdirection is also used in the sense that Kuroko makes his opponents (sometimes even team-mates) think he's going to do one thing, when in reality, he's doing something else. For example, in his Vanishing Drive, he misdirects his opponent's attention, making them think they should focus on the ball until he's out of their line of sight. In this instance, Kuroko is making people think he's going for a regular, normal, blockable shot, but instead, he's shooting higher than usual, giving the illusion of the ball 'disappearing.'

STRAIGHT: that is the reason Kasamatsu stepped back so he can carefully see the trajectory of the shot. probably you got confused with KISE´S "PHANTOM SHOT" COPY, which recreates it by using an high shot like Midorima´s threes but inside the 2 line point.

+DevilluTionisT gri no the thing is he shoots from a lower point and makes a steep arc meaning the path it takes is different which confuses players making it think it disappeared and he also uses misdirection making it look like an invisible shot they do explain this when someone figures it out

if the taller guys look down on where the ball is, their vision of where the ball is will be limited. Unlike a normal shot, you usually look up because the shot will be surely an arc. But if the form is like Kuroko's form, the defending player will look down on the ball, with that, the defender wouldn't be able to see what will be the path of the shot will be, since they think that the shot will form an arc. Kuroko's shot doesn't make an arc, it's like a triangle, but not exactly a triangle. But if you still manage to say something to backup again your statement, I would like to have a game with you so that I can let you know what we're talking about.
