Cavity-walls that are already built-up can NOT have cavity-wall insulation added. There are ongoing legal claims cases against this incorrect "blown (beads, fluff, granules E.T.C.) /injection insulation" SCANDAL shown in this video- It CAN and DOES ruin your property ! "blown/injection insulation" must NOT be done, as it immediately bridges the cavity. Cavity-walls must NOT be bridged with insulation (insulation touching the outer walls inside the cavity) or else moisture will transmit by capillary action from the damp outer walls through the touching bridging insulation into the inner walls, making it damp inside the property ! Injecting foam into the cavity stops the walls breathing causing drastic condensation saturation of the inner walls inside the building. cavity-wall insulation batts(panels) can ONLY be installed from the VERY START of construction of the cavity-walls. If cavity-wall insulation batts are to be installed, there must be a LARGE air space gap in-between the OUTER walls and the face of the cavity-wall insulation batts inside the cavity-walls, this ALSO includes an air space gap in-between the face of the cavity-wall insulation batts and the cavity-wall-tie drip points(which must point downwards in the centre of the cavity). Zet in op isolatie met een minimale R-waarde van 5 met een hout skelet binnenmuur of een complete nieuwe buitenmuur. Spouwmuur volspuiten met die rommel in de video veroorzaakt schimmel en vocht en isoleert amper. Bouwbedrijven die een luchspouw volspuiten zijn criminelen!

Many reasons - new properties have even fill of mineral fibre built with each course. It will also have a suitable dpc which many of the older properties which have had cavity wall on dont have.

idiots glued it upside down to the concrete in the house i just moved into, i had to grind it all off. Lots of the headers we're broken and the boards had cupped in a lot of places.

Hi, can this underlay go over an existing sheet vinyl flooring? (heterogeneous vinyl Leoline) To then lay a LVT floor?

Hi Darren, yes InstaLay 25hg can be loose laid over a vinyl floor as long as it is sound. The LVTs are simply installed on the self-adhesive layer. Regards Shaun

@@burneybob did you have the foam put in ???? you will have lots of damp problems believe me in time you will regret it unless you did your homework on this stuff... shouldn't never ever fill a cavity as it's ment to breath... when new builds have insulation they use boards and also leave a gap so the building can still breath

I'm trying to research loads because I'm converting my loft into a studio & we already have joists in, under that is plaster board then downstairs, I cant take the joists up so I have to work with what I got, I have planned to spend a lot on acustic insulation then a wood flour then soundproof Matt's then a carpet over the top but it might be a waste of money because the sound will just vibrate though the joists to downstairs, is their any product or way around this, like putting these on top of the joists, I cant build new joisists as I will loose hight

Acoustic floating floor for what? A person and a mic could have explained that better than generic music. I know that for a recording studio this is useless, and that's all I'm interested in. Try throwing in a little scientific explanation and you may find sales get a little better.

if you are doing a short section in between ceramic tile like a wood inlay over concrete slab, will this system work? and what do you do about expansion gaps if you do not want them to be seen in this case??? I want to have a flush transition from ceramic tile to solid hardwood section in the middle of the floor.
