I remember thinking this record was kind of dumb because they weren't rhyming and they were speaking in cartoon. I liked "Can You Feel It" though. It wasn't until much later that I realized the importance of this document, to the L.I. crew, the Def Jam roster, and most importantly, the college jocks who were paving the way for hip hop to gain more radio play.
